After work, Taehyung went straight to the pet cafe with Suga. He was on a high after everything that happened that day:
* Monie survived his choking episode without any side effects.
* Their condom campaign was approved — which will bring big revenues for the company.
And, he felt like he owed it all to Jungkook.
He's looking forward to treating him to good dinner and coffee. He even requested Jin to prepare a special meal for them.
When they got to the cafe, Taehyung looked for Yeontan and Monie first and found the two playing with other dogs. Yeontan looked so happy when he saw Taehyung that he left his playmates and ran to his appa.
Taehyung sat on the floor and Yeontan jumped on his lap. "Hey, Tan! Looks like you're having a good time here, huh? Did you miss me?" He asked and was answered by licks on his face.
"Awww, I missed you too." Taehyung said as he ruffled Yeontan's fur.
He was about to stand up and carry Yeontan back to where he was playing, but was surprised when he saw Monie running to him — something that his brother's dog has never done before.
Monie barked once at Taehyung and stood in front of him with a smile on his face.

Taehyung smiled back as if he understood what the dog was saying.
"You are welcome, Monie. I'm so happy and relieved that you're okay. Remember what I said okay? Always chew before swallowing food." Taehyung said as he leaned down to kiss the dog and the dog licked his lips.
"Hey, Monie!!! What about me?! You don't kiss me at all and I'm your appa!" Namjoon said from behind, making Taehyung laugh.
"He's just thanking me, hyung! " Taehyung said before turning his attention to the two dogs, "Okay, you two...go back and play with your friends!" He said as he stood up. Yeontan and Monie seemed to understand as they went back to the indoor dog park and played.
"So, Yoongi told me that you invited Jungkook to join us tonight. Is there something between you two that you wanna tell me?" Namjoon asked.
"What?! No, we're just friends...and he's my boss, technically speaking. I invited him so that I can treat him as a token of my gratitude for helping me save Monie and approving our campaign." Taehyung said.
"The guy clearly likes you Taehyung. I saw the way he looks at you." Namjoon said.
"Huh? Hyung, let me remind you that I'm the only one in our family who's supposed to be delusional. I'm relying on your rational brain to retain a sense of normalcy amongst us. So, stop saying absurd things please." Taehyung said.
"This is me being rational." Namjoon said.
"Nope! Not listening to you until you make sense again." Taehyung said as he walked away from Namjoon and decided to go to Jimin's office.
