I HATE this winter weather,
Dreary it is and grey.
I'm at the end of my tether
And it's ruining my day.
Perhaps I'll be a hedgehog
And roll into a ball.
Find myself a cosy nest
in a tiny leaf-lined hole.
Or perhaps I'll be a grizzly.
I'll find a cave, dry and bare
And sleep all thru' the winter
without a single care.
I'm really going to hibernate,
it certainly is my 'thing.'
Yes, I'm definitely going to hibernate,
Just wake me up next spring.
So expect no more creations,
poems, or words of mine.
I'll be busy hibernating
so I will not have the time.

... and nothing but the truth
Short StoryThis is a book of true stories, anecdotes and little snippets. I hope you enjoy them. There may even be a little poem or two, you never know! This book contains the story of my husband's (eventful) life so far.
