Chapter 67__you're pregnant

"You're really getting married?",  Scarlett asked Mia wide eyed.
Mia nodded as she passed the IV to her.
" My God!Why the rush? I was hoping to give you a shocking news today but who knew you will shock me instead?", Scarlett really didn't see this coming.
Mia smiled.
"You can give me the news now. What is it?",  Mia asked.
Scarlett sigh.
"What is it?",  Mia asked again.
" I... I don't know if the dress will fit me! I'm with child", Scarlett said.
"What? You're pregnant?",  Mia asked.
Scarlett nodded.
" Isn't this good news? Why are you sad?", Mia paused.
"Wait, don't tell me Zander didn't want your baby", She asked.
Scarlet sigh.
" I haven't even told him so how would I know if he wants the baby or not?", She said.
"Why didn't you tell him and why the sighing? You should inform him right? Don't complicate things for your self. You are both responsible for the baby",  Mia said.
" Mia, you don't get it. I'm not afraid that Zander will reject the child or something but I'm confused. The problem here is me. I wonder f I will be fit as a mum, if I'm ready to be a mother. If..I want a child now. It came so unexpectedly, you know. I was not expecting it. It came as a shocking news to me", She said.
"You're not a baby so why can't you be a mom. I think you will be the best mom ever",  Mia said.
" Give yourself confidence and tell your self that you can do it. We should really celebrate. I think a shot gun wedding may happen soon. I don't think ypur mum and dad will want you to give birth to this child out of wedlock", Mia added
"I won't listen to them if Zander isn't willing to get married. I will do whatever he wanted. If he didn't want the baby, I'm afraid I may..."Scarlett was saying when Mia cuts in.
"What are you saying Scarlet. This is your baby and I'm very sure Zander is not someone who will not take responsibility for what he did. Don't ever think you wouldn't be able to raise your child alone without the father. I raised Chris, remember? He is a big boy now", Mia said.
" I will tell Zander tonight ", Scarlett said.
" You should ", Mia said.

" What? She is getting married?", Miriam asked her husband.
The man nodded.
"Sam, my daughter. I... I... I want to go to B-city. I should witness her wedding,  isn't that right?",  She asked.
" Sweetheart, patience. You know how complicated it is right? We can't act on impulse", He explained the situation to her.
"I'm alive. Hale and heathy. Why  can't I witness my own daughter wedding. I'm her mom. I.. I feel bad", She started crying.
" It's okay. Let's take this step by step. She doesn't even know you're still around. Will you just go there and claim to be her mother on her wedding day? Do you think she would appreciate that? Don't complicate things. Let's just follow the plans", he told her.
"I miss Mia. I miss my daughter so much",  Miriam cried.
" It's okay", He patted her back.
"Mom, dad. I'm home",  a young gentle man entered the room
" Alright, clean your tears. You don't want Stanley to see you crying,right?", he asked her.
Miriam quickly wiped her tears  She turned to her son.
"Welcome. I thought you will be late",  She said.
Stanley noticed her puffy eyes and knew she was crying.
He noticed some movement recently and he knew his father asked his men to investigate some things.
He sat down.
" Mom, dad. I want you to come clean to me. If you won't tell me everything now, trust me I will investigate everything myself", Stanley said.
"It's really nothing you need to mind, Stan. You should just focus on doing your own things",  Miriam said and stuttered a few times.
Stanley stood up.
" You won't tell me? Forget it,  I will find out my own way ", he made to leave.
" Stanley, sit down. Your dad will tell you everything", Miriam stopped him.
"Okay. That's nice. It will save me a lot of resources",  Stanley said and sat down.
" This is it......."

"So in short you're pregnant?",  Sander asked scarlett.
She nodded.
"It seems we are really fated.I was still thinking of a way to propose to you and make you mine forever but who knew God will tie you down with me like this?",  He asked her.
Scarlett face brightened up.
" You're trying to propose to me?", That's what really caught her attention.
"Yes",  he nodded.
" I want it. I must really get that proposal", Scarlett said and pouted.
"Let's see. The testimony of our love is right there in your  tummy, tying you down with me forever. Why do I still need to propose? Well, if you propose to me, I may accept your proposal",  he said and winked.
Scarlett pouted.
" That isn't nice, Zander. I want my proposal", She whined.
"Just propose to me instead. How happy would I be?",  he asked.
Scarlett rolled her eyes.
Zander hugged her from behind.
" Baby, don't stress yourself. you need to be careful from now on. You should always think about your baby. Don't worry, this oppa will dote on you", He told her.
Scarlett smiled then.
"What if I suddenly have cravings in the night?",  She asked him.
" Huh?", he asked.
"Will you get whatever I'm craving for for me?", She asked him.
Zander swallowed. Such a tricky question. If he answered it honestly, she might get mad.
" Babe, anything for you ", he replied.
Scarlett felt sweet from inside.
" Do you think our baby will be a boy?", she asked.
"I want a girl child. Boys are too stubborn",  Zander said.
Scarlett scoffed.
" You know your gender best", She said.
"Any gender is good anyway. I'm going to dote and the child no matter the gender", The man said and got a smile from the woman.

Looks as if we will be attending three weddings now(Jerry, Mia and scarlet).  How many Aso ebi did we want to buy now. I'm scared for my purse.You should all take rolls: event planners, tailors, caterer, drinks service, The ones who will help us sell the Aso ebi, the Mc and many others.
Me: I will just attend the party to eat and😋 fight for souvenirs😀. How many people will join me.
