Chapter 52__I'm chasing Mia

Mia decided to take the excuse of the crew filming in the country side to stay away from Zenith. She needs some free time herself to think.
She came home late_it was intentional. She wanted to avoid Zenith. She met everyone in the living room except Rosa and Zenith. They were discussing a few matter.
Chris was busy colouring his drawing book but when he saw her. He called mum.
He ran to her and hugged her legs.
She squat to his height and kissed his cheeks.
"How are you? You're not bullied in school,  are you?",  She asked him.
" I'm fine, mom. And you? ", the little boy smiled.
" I'm fine. Mum will take you to school tomorrow ", She told him.
" OK", the little boy said and maid some gestures with his hand. He looked cute.
Mia stood up and greeted everyone.
"Welcome, child",  Zach replied.
" You didn't answer my question this morning Mia", Reina told her.
"Aunt can I answer that later?",  She asked and prepared to climb the stairs.
Then she remembered something.
" Aunt, the crew is going to the country side to wrap up the shoot. I hope you will take care of Chris for me", Mia said.
Reina was still angry so she asked.
"Will you be my daughter in law then?",
Mia widen her eyes and didn't know what to say.
" Just kidding. Zenith will only marry someone he likes anyway. Even f I could make you agree to marrying Zenith for Chris, he would never agree. That boy won't trade his life long happiness for anything", Reina said.
Mia thought it is Zenith that is urging them to convince her but now she knew better. It is all their wishful thinking. What they didn't know is that Zenith had asked her out.
Does that means she didn't need to worry about his family objecting them. But in domineering CEO novel. All female leads needs to be objected by the family members of the CEO.
"Don't worry. I will take care of my own great grandson",  Comfort said
Mia smiled.
"Thanks great aunt",  Mia said.

Zenith didn't see Mia at breakfast so he guessed she left for the set early. When he didn't see her at dinner that night, he suspected she has been avoiding him. The next morning too, he didn't and couldn't help but ask the butler.
"Mia left early?",
" Miss Quinn travelled", The butler replied.
"What? Where?",  Zenith thought she left.
" Didn't she tell you she is going to the country side for a shoot?", Zach who happened to overhear said.
"Country side? Mia didn't mention anything of sort to me",  He could not explain his feelings that moment. That woman did not even take him seriously at all. How can she go out without telling him.
He made a phone call.

Everyone is working really hard. They were excited. They all wanted to wrap the shoot up.
They not too many NG and everything is going smoothly until a van drove into set. On the van there was a banner reading.
" Writer Mia will treat you all today. Enjoy!",
When the crew saw this, they were very happy.
They all turned to Mia.
"Ms Quinn. Thank you for this treat",  An actress told her.
" Yeah. More like you knew what we were hoping for"
"What's the event? Is it your birthday or you are just feeling happy?",  someone asked.
" Thanks so much writer Mia. I'm so famished"
"I didn't order this",  Mia couldn't help but say.
That moment,  a rolls royce drove into set. Everyone was wondering who was in the car, even Mia who finds that car very very familiar.
The door opened and a handsome hulk came out if the car. Mia couldn't believe her eyes. What is this person going here. He smiled when he saw her.
" Mia", he called and wave at her.
Mia was stunned.
So it was not a joke. Dies this mean this guy meant what he said. She really isn't worthy of him. There are so many beautiful women out there. How can he like someone like her. Did he want to take responsibility for that night? Then he doesn't need to.
The waiters walked to the man and bowed.
"You can start",  he told them and they walked to the van and start bringing out the food. Within fill minute, they arranged everything and started serving people.
Zenith walked towards Mia.
" Is filming hard?", he asked as he pat her hair.
"Zenith, what are you doing?",  She asked him.
" What? Isn't it obvious? I am wooing a woman I like", He said.
Mia felt her heart beat raced.
'No that was probably an illusion. Why would my heart beat for him. He is just my kids son. He is only Chris father. I have no feelings whatsoever for him', Mia thought were running wild.
"I..."
She wanted to say something but Zenith cuts in.
"I've decided to be shameless if I must to win your heart. I will do everything in my power. Don't you dare stop me. Please. Even if you don't like me, I can love you alone. I don't mind loving you so allow me. Let me show you love", Zenith said sincerely.
Mia could feel his sincerity but she did not want to believe it.
'He can't like me. It's probably just the heat of the moment. If I leave his place, he will probably stop thinking about me. He is Zenith Baxtar after all. A woman like me must be nothing to him.
" Alright, let's go grab something to eat",Zenith  said.
"Who are you? Mia looks like she is unwilling to stay with you.",  Jay asked.
When Zenith gaze fell on Jay his expression darken.
Jay felt chills around and he was a little afraid of Zenith but he didn't waver.
" You look familiar, have we met?", he probed.
"I know you",  Zenith said
Jay laughed.
" Are you kidding me? Everybody in B-city knows me", Jay felt smug.
"You're the man I saw with Mia when she went to pick Chris from his former school.",  How could Zenith forget a love rival.
Jay snorted
" I'm Chris father and.....", Zenith wanted to introduce himself in a way Mia will be proud of him but he was interrupted.
"Chris father?  So you're the jerk from that time",  Jay asked .
Zenith was speechless. It seems as if this love rival is closer to the woman.
" Yes. I was a jerk but right now I'm chasing Mia"
