Okay so I here is this late Halloween story, since I'm starting this fic after Halloween. Thanks to my bffeae #1 for this idea.

This is all fluff, and the only 'scary' thing will be one of those actors dressed up in the maze

Rui POV

Since it's about that time of the year, I invited my boyfriend, Tsukasa, with me to a corn maze. Of course I chose the hardest one I could find, and the scariest.

Tsukasa was never good with horror or anything relatively scary, so I decided not to tell him that we (or just I, rather) were going to go thrill seeking. I sent Tsukasa the location, and he insisted on driving us there.

"Rui, I think this is it, right?" Tsukasa looked over at me for assurance. I put down my book and looked around at our surroundings. It was around sunset, the perfect time for an activity like this. The maze could be seen not too far from the entrance, which is where we were. The tall corn stalks rose to the height of mine and Tsukasa's heights combined.

"Yeah, this is it! Tsu-Tsu, I'm so excited for this!" I beamed, quickly getting out of the car. The air was getting chilly, which made me glad that Tsukasa advised for us to wear warm clothing.

Tsukasa walked over and held my hand tightly. "Oh my god... it reaches higher than than you.." He gulped nervously.

"Don't worry, Darling. We haven't even gotten to the check-in yet, so let's do that, first." We walked side by side to the register.

After check-in

We were at the entrance, and Tsukasa seemed intimidated by the corn. "Aww, are you scared?" I teased.

"What? Hah, n-no way! I, Tenma Tsukasa, isn't scared of- AAAAHH!!" In the middle of his speech about never being scared, he jumped up onto me and wrapped his legs around me, squeezing me tight. There was a centipede on the ground at his feet.

"Fufu, we haven't even gotten into the maze yet and you're already scared!" I found thus situation very amusing.

"Shush! L-Let's just keep going, okay?" He crossed his arms and stormed off into the maze.

"Wait, Tsukasa! We need to stick together or one of us might get lost." I quickly caught up to him.

As we walked, we were faced with a fork in the road. We could continue going straight, take a left or take a right.

"This is easy. Right is always right, right?" I glanced at Tsukasa as he looked deep in thought.

"No! Left is always right, where'd you learn right is right?" He looked at me judgementally.

"Right is literally the word, so it's gotta be right." I stared back at him with a straight face.

We went back and forth like this for a minute, and then Tsukasa suddenly turned around and went to the left. Oh boy. He's definitely the most stubborn person I've met. He's adorable, though. I humored the situation and followed him through the left path.
There were many choices we had to make, and from my observations, none of them were connected to the middle or right path.

"Oh! Tsu-Tsu, look!" I saw a very cute scarecrow decoration to my left.

"That's cute and all, but don't let it distract us from-"
