We walked through the aisles of the store, looking through the items for the stuff on our list. Topper was pushing the shopping cart as I skipped along beside him. My hand was on his arm, squeezing his bicep as I talked.

He stopped the cart to read something closely, clearing not being able to read the writing as I noticed an aisle. It was bright and red, with splotches of green and white.

The Christmas isle.

My eyes went wide as I let go of his arm and ran over to it, looking at all the different decorations. With it being just after Halloween, stores were fully stocked with Christmas attire. And, with it being my favourite time of the year, I was very excited.

I felt like a kid in a candy store, being overjoyed with everything that caught my eye. From the ornaments to the signs, it was all so overwhelming.

"Y/N!?" I could hear Topper yell from the other aisle. I quickly yelled back and continued looking at everything.

Not many moments later, Topper came rushing it with the list in his hand and the almost full cart in front of him. He looked frazzled and confused.

"What the hell was that? I turn around for one second and you're gone." He explained, over exaggerating with his hands.

"Look at this Top, it's such a cute sign. You could put it in the kitchen for the holidays," I gleamed, "or look, this is cute too, or this..."

"Babe, relax," he said while laughing.

"Sorry, I'm just excited. I didn't mean to scare you but look at all this stuff. It'll look really good in the house."

"It hasn't even been Thanksgiving, and it was just Halloween. Slow down a bit sweetheart."

"Ok but it's never too early to buy it, we don't have to put it up until December," I smiled, "promise."

He sighed and looked down at my smiling face.

"One sign, and we aren't putting it up until December. We have to at least wait until Thanksgiving, ok," he stated, "and don't sneak away from me anymore, I don't want to lose you. Or else, I'll have to put one of those baby monkey leashes on you."

I rolled my eyes and smiled, placing the sign in the cart. I reached up to his face, grabbing his cheeks and pulling his face down to mine. Standing on my tiptoes, I kissed him sweetly and he touched my back.

"Thank you, I love you, but you better brace yourself for after Thanksgiving, because I will not hold back."

"I don't doubt that for a second sweetheart," he teased, "and I love you too, you little gremlin.
