Kelce and Rafe were playing video games on my PS5 as I watched, since I only had 2 controllers. Y/N was off at surfing lessons with Maybank, it wasn't ideal but I loved her and she insisted on learning to surf. I didn't understand why, she was a Kook and didn't need to know how to surf. None the less, Y/N took lessons twice a week on Sundays and Wednesdays.
During those times, the guys always came over to raid my pantry and play my video games. I didn't mind, since they were my best friends and I only saw them a few times a week.
"Bro, it smells fucking weird in here," Kelce rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Yeah man," Rafe agreed, "like flowers or something."
"It's Y/N's defuser thing, she puts oils in it and makes my room smell nice," I explained, "she said it smells too much like teenage boys in here."
"It's gross, like weird hippie shit," Kelce deadpanned.
I rolled my eyes, it was lavender for pete's sake, nothing hippie. A flower. Apparently they didn't know what lavender was.
Rafe threw the controller down in rage and screamed out a swear. Without even looking, I knew he died and Kelce laughed along with Rafe's screaming. Kelce placed the controller down beside him as Rafe got up.
"I'm gonna go get another drink, if that's ok," I nodded at Rafe, "you guys want one?"
Kelce and I both said 'sure' and Rafe walked past my dresser to the door but stopped.
"What's that?" He asked.
I looked to his hand to see Y/N's crystals on his fingers. It was almost as if I launched forward and grabbed them from his hands. My heart beat went from 60 to 100 bpm almost instantly.
"Don't touch those man!"
"What? They're just rocks," Rafe shrugged.
"Y/N said you can't touch them, something about wrecking their energy. She's gonna have to cleanse them again."
"Energy? Cleansing? She putting fucking spells on you man," Kelce added in, which made him receive a glare from me.
"Doesn't matter, she literally loves those things! Go get your drink and then we can play again."
They seemed flabbergasted and didn't speak for a few seconds. I didn't really care, Y/N had a few rules about her crystals and the number one, was nobody touches them. Quite frankly, I didn't really know what it all meant, but it was important to her so I followed the rules.
Kelce spoke up, "Do you think the crystals can hear us?"
Rafe bursted out in a laughter and I rolled my eyes, they were children. Literal children.
