They didn't have time for this.

Obi-Wan Force pushed the droids to clear a path and raced through. The clones, loyal as ever, ran after Kenobi and shot down the immobilized droids on the way.

They raided the base, searching for Ahsoka. Obi-Wan could sense one other being through the Force, anxiety spiking after the droid attack. He followed the fearful signature through the base and eventually broke through a door leading to a white-washed room.

The man standing on the other side of the room whirled around with a petrified expression.

"Hello there," Obi-Wan said, leading the clones in behind him. They lined up, ready to shoot at Obi-Wan's word.

"Do not worry," Obi-Wan went on, "We're not going to hurt you... unless you start acting hostile. I've just come to collect something that's been taken from me."

"P-please, I'm innocent!" the man cried.

"Are you?" Obi-Wan hummed. "You do have something in your possession that doesn't belong to you. However, if you return her, I'll gladly be on my way and no further harm will come to you."

"What do you want?" the man asked. "Anything."

"The padawan," Obi-Wan growled. "Where is Ahsoka Tano?"

The man glanced to his left anxiously. "I d-don't know what you're talking about."

Obi-Wan nodded to Cody, who marched over and slammed his hand down on a control panel. The wall opened and produced a sort of table, and on it lay none other than Ahsoka Tano, bound in Force-surpressing cuffs.

"But my research!" sputtered the scientist man

Obi-Wan didn't respond, instead hurrying over to Ahsoka and nudging her shoulder.

"Ahsoka, can you hear me?"

Her eyes fluttered open and she gave him a little hum. Obi-Wan felt his heart drop at the dazed, absent look in her eyes.

"Tell me what you did to her," Obi-Wan ordered the scientist. "What drugs did you give her?"

"Mostly sedatives," said the scientist. "The tests I've been running haven't hindered her health in any way, I promise."

Obi-Wan gave the man a nod and turned back to Ahsoka, whose eyes had closed again. He tabbed her cheek and her eyes shot open, her fist rushing up to meet his face. Obi-Wan caught it and leaned over so that she could see his face directly. She squinted for a moment.

"Obi-Wan?"

"Yes, my dear. Do you think you can stand?"

She hummed in affirmation, but her eyes already began to slide shut again.

"Keep your eyes open," Obi-Wan said. She blinked a few times.

Obi-Wan reached out to take her hands and hoisted her to her feet, only for her to tip forward and crash into his chest.

So, lethargic and disoriented. Lovely.

"S'rry, M'st'r," Ahsoka mumbled into his robes.

Obi-Wan steadied her by her shoulders and patted her gently. "It's quite alright. We're going to get you back to your master now, okay?"

"Kay," Ahsoka sighed.

Obi-Wan hoisted her over his shoulder and winced at how light she was: Pure skin and bones. Had they given her anything to eat since she was captured?

They turned to make the trek back to the ship, the clones surrounding Obi-Wan to protect him and Ahsoka. "You're lucky her master didn't show up," Obi-Wan called over his shoulder. "You might be dead if he did."
