As we are escorted to our rooms in the huge ass mansion, my teeth grind against each other holding back the words I desperately want to yell.

Jade made a huge decision that regards all of our lives,  I only wish she asked my opinion as well.

Lexi, Jade and I are sharing a room while The twins Colten and Ollie share a room with two queen beds.  They have more rooms but we wanted the kids to stick together in case anything happens.

I drag my hands down my face as I close and lock the door, aggravation cursing through my veins.

I go into the bathroom taking a moment to wash my face and calm down.  One rule Jade and I have is no arguments in front of the kids.  And I could never yell at Jade anyway, makes me feel sick to my stomach.

After a moment to myself I exit the bathroom and go into the bedroom.  Lexi is fast asleep in the bed and Jade sits beside her nervously chewing on her lip like she always does when she anxious.

I walk towards the bed and sit next to her opening my arms.  She excepts the embrace right away, falling into me and all tension releases from her body.

I kiss her forehead and the lay my head down on top of hers basking in her scent and warmth.  I've missed her and I'm not letting this whole stupid "event" ruin my wife and I's first time in each others arms again in a month.

"I wish you would have talked to me before you made the decision." I murmur against her forehead.  Kissing it a few times to let her know I'm not mad.

"I'm sorry." She whispers turning and looks up at me, "I should've considered that its your life as well, and those kids are yours as much as mine."

I tuck a few strands of hair behind her ear, "thank you darling."

She gives me a kiss which happens to turn deeper but doesn't go any further because Lexis in the room, and well we're in Jared childhood bedroom.

"It was a very smart idea." I state laying down and pulling her with me.  I spoon her and she holds Lexi to herself as well so I can reach and hold her little hand.  "We'll convince them."

She laughs, "oh hell yeah,  they don't know what's in store for them."

"Yeah? what's the plan?" I ask. The next couple of hours before we fall asleep, she explains the obstacles she will end up putting her family through.
