Annerys wonders to herself what justice she might hope to get as yes Luke will be punished for this by their mother but she feels that the queen will not be satisfied when she finds out that the punishment will be the removal of pudding from Lukes life for the foreseeable future as other than taking a little boys eye which is surely far too preposterous for anyone to suggest, what justice can be found?

But now they have been forbidden to leave by the Queen, Annerys realises the situation might just be that severe so she instead chooses to speak to her Grandfather in Valyrian in the hopes that she might be able to persuade the highest power in the land to send them to bed if the queen cannot intersect. So she says "kostilus ziry iksos sȳrje bona īlon mirre ȳdragon isse se ñāqatubis, skori emi mirre ēdrutan." (perhaps it's best that we all speak in the morning, when we have all slept).

The queen quickly turns to her and spits out "What did she just say?"

The king looks weary and a little devastated with the way his family has descended into chaos so he gently says "We will continue in the common tongue so we might all understand one another. This will all be dealt with by dawn then it shall be forgotten so let us all wait until your mother arrives."

She can feel luke's hand trembling in hers as they wait and she's not sure if it's from the fear, the pain or the guilt but she realise that they aren't leaving so she kneels down and holds him in a comforting embrace and places several kisses on the side of his head until their mother bursts through the doors and she sighs with relief.

"What happened? Jace? Luke! Show me. Show me." Luke sobs as their mother inspect his face.

"Who did this?" Her mother questions.

"They attacked me!" Aemond responds.

Aemond, Baela, Rhaena, Luke and Jace all argue amongst themselves.

So Annerys takes this opportunity to whisper to her mother "Luke has cut out Aemonds eye."

Her mother looks at her alarmed, gently pulls Annerys infront of her and says "Do you know why?" as she pulls some of Anne's hair still damp from her bath loose from her braid, pulls it against her neck and tucks it into her nightgown and then pulls the collar of her robe against her neck.

Annerys a little confused by her mothers actions but doesn't question them assuming it's her mothers nerves so shakes her head and says "No, not really."

Rhaenyra nods at her daughter before she steps in front of her and pushes Annerys behind her and out of sight.

"He attacked Baela! He broke Luke's nose!" Jace argues. 

Rhaena cries "He stole my mother's dragon!"

"Enough!" She hears the King shout.

"He was going to kill Jace!" Luke weeps.

"I didn't do anything!" Aemond exclaims.

"It should be my son telling the tale!" Alicent squeaks and even at five and ten Annerys feels the Queen should be a little embarrassed arguing with children.

"He called us..."  Jace begins before he is interrupted by the king yelling "Silence!" So he instead whispers to their mother "He called us bastards."

Viserys declares "Aemond... I will have the truth of what happened."

"Now. What else is there to hear? Your son has been maimed. Her son is responsible." The queen argues.

"It was a regrettable accident." Rhaenyra tries to de-escalate. 

Alicent responds  "Accident? The Prince Lucerys brought a blade to the ambush. He meant to kill my son."
