Up…up and away…
“You really want to do this Kane?”
“Hey it was your idea Baby girl”
“It was but I didn’t think you’d actually be up for it”
“I think it’ll be fun” Wyatt said,
“Yeah you would”,
“Hey what does that mean Rics?”
“Nothing” I said sticking my tongue out at him,
“I’m game for it, think of how awesome it’ll be” Joel stated,
“Yeah, but no one knows how to fly one” I said,
“We’ll work it out Baby girl…you’re not chickening out now are you”,
“No”, he gave me the look to say ‘don’t lie to me’ “Promise”; he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck.
“I love you” he said,
“I love you too”
“Okay…okay, let’s head back home and…”
“Do this shit” Wyatt said, I looked at him,
“Wy’, are you taking drugs?”
“Course I’m not”, he laughed. Hmmm. “I’m just a bit hyper”, I shrugged and leapt on Kane’s back as we walked home. It was 2.30pm when we got back; Kane dumped me on the sofa and went upstairs to get a rucksack ready with some stuff in, for our journey in the sky. I flicked on the television. Cole then came into the room with Kasey,
“I hear you guys are going to steal a…”
“How’d you hear that” I interrupted, “Because if people know, then we aren’t going through with it”, he laughed,
“Wyatt just told us…”
“Oh…is he like, normal now”
“My little brother has never been normal”,
“I mean…oh never mind”, I said rolling my eyes, and they left laughing. I wandered upstairs and onto the balcony, holding the railing and standing on my tiptoes, embracing the warm day and the light breeze which tickled the top of my neck. I felt arms enclose around me and soft lips press against my neck,
“What are you thinking about Baby girl?”
“Nothing” I said, turning round to face him,
“Sure”, I nodded; he smiled then kissed me gently on the lips, caressing my face in his safe hands.
At 4pm we left the house in Kane’s truck. We as in Kane, myself, Wyatt and Joel.
“What exactly is the plan?” I asked,
“You because you’re so gorgeously sexy are going to distract some people, whilst us three steal it, then you run over and jump in and up ,up and away we go” Kane said,
“Oh you make it sound so bloody easy”
“Hey less of the bloody Sis’” Joel said,
“Whatever”
“Whatever” Wyatt mimicked. I turned to look at him, the whispered to Kane, “Did you give him some drugs or something”
