Carter POV
I was on my way to Amari's house to pack my stuff. When I got there I noticed that Amari's car wasn't there. I walked in looking around and I saw Nova in the back yard by the pool in her swim suit. She looked amazing. "Hey I'm just coming to get my stuff." I said
"Why where are you going." she said looking worried and slightly dissapointed.
" I'm moving back in with Tasha. She told me she was pregnant today and i figured it was the right thing to do."
"If you wanna talk about it we can I wouldn't mind actually having a conversation with someone, because Amari has been very distant lately."
"Okay and what do you mean he's been distant lately?" I asked slight intrigued because this could be my opportunity to be with the woman of my dreams. She told me how she knew he was cheating but she wanted proof. She told me how some nights he doesn't even bother to show up or even call. All I could think was how could he not give this goddess any attention. We didn't really talk about my personal problems, we just talked about our childhoods and it was the first time Nova actually helped me understand who she was. As soon as I was about to go there was a knock on the door. I opened it and it was a female looking for Amari.
"Hey I'm Jasmine is Amari here?"
"Why do you need to know where my man is."
" Apparently you haven't known where your man has been the past few weeks."
I could tell Nova was getting angry by the way she clenched her fists and bit her lip. Next thing I know Nova had the girl by her hair and was dragging her around. I didn't do anything because what jasmine did was straight disrespectful. After I saw Jasmine bleeding and begging Nova to stop I finally pulled them apart.
"Tell Amari I'm pregnant I'm sure he will be happy to be having a baby with someone he actually loves. She said walking out with a smirk on her face.
Nova tried to lunge at her but I stopped her. Nova didn't need to be fighting over this man who clearly didn't give a f*ck about her. He had random b*tches coming by here talking about they pregnant. Nova was sitting down still in her swimsuit just crying. I made my way to her and held her in my arms trying to soothe her and get her to realize she didn't deserve this.
"Are you okay ma?" I asked not knowing what else to say.
"I'm fine. I'm just shocked. I don't know why. I suspected he was cheating." she said acting as if she was dumb for not leaving earlier.
"So what do you wanna do."
" Can you help me get my stuff. I'll figure out a place to stay." I nodded and followed her into the room. We sat there packing her things and an hour later we left. we were in the car and she got a call.
" What the hell do you want you lying trifling bastard." She was sexy as hell when she was mad she made me bite my bottom lip in lust.
"Where are you and where is your stuff?" Amari asked
" Asked that ugly ass b*tch Jasmine she should know considering she just got her ass beat."
"How you know about Jasmine, and why'd you beat her ass?" He asked sounding dumb.
"Get off my phone Amari. Oh and you will soon be getting divorce papers." She hung up. I decided to take her to the bar to get her mind off it. Shawty was wasted after we left the bar she started kissing on my neck and playing with my ears. I liked it until she cupped my manhood in her hand.
"Woah ma that's not what you wanna do."
"Why not?" She asked biting her lip and giggling.
"We are going to go to my house so you can sleep this off." I said. It was obvious she couldn't hold her liquor because she only had 2 shots before she started tripping. She sat on my bed and I got in the shower. I came out and she was asleep. I climbed in bed with her. Turning my back to her making sure nothing happened. I wasn't going to take advantage of her.
...
In the morning I woke up and threw on some trues and a black v- neck with my white and black low top future's and my white, blue, and pink nike wind breaker. I went to get breakfast from I hop. I knew she was going to have a headache so I stopped by Walgreens.
