Saglit na napaawang ang labi ko sa sinabi niya. "You held me at gunpoint just for your personality test or some shit?"
Natawa lamang ito sa akin. "Goddamn, she's really smart."
Marahas na napabuntong-hininga si Matthias bago binalik ang tingin sa akin. "I'm sorry. Ganito lang kami but I can assure you na malinis ang intensyon namin. We just want your help and nothing else."
Hindi ako sumagot. Nanatili lamang ang titig ko sa kanya. Tinitimbang ko pa rin kung dapat ko ba silang pagkatiwalaan o hindi.
"Nang makita namin ang nangyari sayo sa CCTV, inakala talaga namin na immune ka... at dahil hindi ka inaatake ng mga infected, naisip namin na malaki ang maitutulong mo sa amin."
