Blink and you'll miss it

Vol. 2 Chapter 2: Just say it...

Team RWBY and JNPR were currently in the school library. Ren was reading a book, Nora was sleeping, Jaune was reading a comic, and Pyrrha is helping (y/n) with some homework. On the table near by, the girls of team RWBY are holding cards playing Remnant the board game.

Ruby: (quietly) "hmmm alright... (gasp) alright.."

She suddenly looks up from her hand and points to Yang.

Ruby: "YANG XIAO LONG! PREPARE YOUR KINGDOM FOR BATTLE!

Yang: "Bring it on!"

Ruby: "I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!"

She slaps her card down on the table.

Ruby: "Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!"

Ruby makes airplane bomber noises as she moves her hands like a flying plane.

Yang: "gasp! You fiend!"

Ruby: "And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only... one turn."

She has a smug look on her face until she hears Yang chuckling.

Yang: "Pretty sneaky, sis, but you just activated my trap card!"

Ruby: "WHAAAAAA?!"

Yang: "Giant Nevermore!"

She slams the card down on the table.

Yang: "If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!"

Ruby: "But, if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces!"

Yang: "That's just a chance I'm willing to take."

She rolls the die... Yang cheers as Ruby weeps

Ruby: "Nooooo!!! My fearless soldiers!"

Yang: "Eh, most of them were probably androids."

Ruby: "Goodbye my friends, you will be avenged."

Yang: "Not until I draw my rewards! Which are double this round thanks to the Mistral Trade Route!"

Ruby: "Bah!"

Yang: "Oh, and what's this? The Smugglers of Wind Path?"

Ruby: "Bah! Bah, I say!"

Yang: "I say, it looks like I'm taking two cards in my hand!"

Pyrrha takes Jaune's comic and replaces it with a text book. She then starts flipping through the comic her self.

(Y/n) gets hit in the head with a piece from the game getting his attention. He turns around in his seat to watch.

Ruby: "Have you no heart? Nooo!"

Ruby slumps on the table crying.

Yang: "Well, Weiss, it's your turn."

Weiss: "I have... absolutely no idea what's going on."
