Four days after the ending of the recording for the 9th challenge video, I am relaxing in the dorm after school when Myeong Mi-Kyong and JYP burst into the dorm calling for me. I am jolted up from my position lying on the couch.

"Chu Jin-Ho! We've been looking for you everywhere. You need to come with us right now!" JYP shouts.

"What's going on PD-nim?" I ask

"No time for questions, follow me right now to the meeting room. You will be filled in once we get there." JYP states. I get up and follow them to the meeting room. I arrive to find multiple members of staff present. The head of promotion and planning is present and many of her support staff. Even the CEO is sat at the table asking questions. JYP, Mi-Kyong and I walk into the room.

"You finally found him!" the head of promotions exclaims. Quick take a seat. We need to make a plan on how to deal with this.

"What is going on?" I ask again. This time I received an answer. It turns out that following the publishing of my solo performance the other day, the internet has been going absolutely mental over my performance especially. My rendition of IU's Good Day has already had over 25 million views in 4 days, and the number was still increasing drastically every time we refreshed. The comments were almost entirely positive too, but there were some that asked very penetrating questions too.

Grimreaper- [Who is this guy? How is it possible to ht that note? Surely a guy can't sing this high!]

ILOVEJYP- [His voice sounds so familiar. I know Seol Young is the one who supposedly sang MOVE at his audition, but why does Chu Jin-Ho's voice sound so similar to that audition video?]

Carthage- [You're right. It does sound similar. Why is that? Did he lip since?]

-Mylittlponygirl [Who cares if it sounds similar. The cover was amazing. I want to hear more from him. What's his social???]

The head of promotions told me that my social media had gained a massive boost in followers too. I had gone from 3.5k 3 days ago, to a whopping 13k as of 5 minutes ago. I was even followed by IU herself, who posted a comment on her Instagram story praising my cover as she watched the show. That definitely helped to boost my popularity.

"Our issue here isn't the popularity that Jin-Ho is receiving, it's the suspicion it's arousing within the people watching the show. Currently, they believe that Seol Young is the one who auditioned with MOVE. But some are beginning to suspect that that is not the case. We need to figure out what to do surrounding this issue.

JYP then explained his reasoning for letting this go on for so long. It turns out that Seol Young's father is the major shareholder in JYP currently and had been throwing his weight around to make his son debut and get his way in the entertainment industry. He currently holds majority shares in multiple other entertainment companies and broadcasting companies. They all want to be rid of him as he is actually very corrupt and greedy. He has been slowly destroying the companies from the inside. his son isn't much better. He is greedy and self-centred. He's been trying for years to push for a debut even though he has very little talent in performance. They say that he would make a great actor and pushed for him to try it, but he refused to say that he wanted to be an Idol. As a result, he had his father pull a few strings to get him on the show and boost his chances of getting through. Otherwise, he would have been one of the first to be eliminated. They now had enough dirt on him to get rid of him but didn't have a reason to get rid of his father as evidence was hard to come by. They were going to use the show as a way to get rid of Seol Young and at the same time remove his father from the entertainment circle. But they didn't quite have enough to get rid of him as of yet, which had them in a bind.

Eventually, we had figured out a plan. We were going to push forward the exposing of Seol Young's lie and begin the removal of his father from entertainment. They had enough evidence to start an investigation and freeze his assets. They just didn't have enough to remove his hold on the shares. But after speaking with the police they realised that if they started an investigation evidence would become easier to find as all assets would be frozen. Thus, the plan was put into action a little earlier.

I was then sent back to the dorm while everything else was sorted out. I began to prepare for the next recording session that would be coming up soon, as it was finally time to show my true colours to the world outside.

2 days later we were called into the living room to receive our next challenge from EVE. "Welcome trainees. I have a new challenge for you. You are to all perform a song that has a very deep meaning to you. In this challenge, your appearance will be changed by stylists. They will be deciding on the style themselves and no influence is allowed from you or any external parties. This is due to an evaluation that is currently ongoing among the department that happens to coincide with the recording. Thank you for your understanding, and good luck." With that, she shut off. The evaluation excuse was actually a lie manufactured to explain the appearance changing so as not to arouse Seol Young's and his father's suspicions. If they had announced that we would be reverting to our original appearances then we may have had an issue.

Following the issuing of the challenge, we all headed off to prepare. We had been given 2 weeks to prepare our songs. We only had to sing or rap this time, no dancing. I already knew which song I would perform. I knew the lines already so just had to practice. I was going to put all my emotion into the song. It was very special to me, and no one would take it away from me.

The first week passed without issue. The second week came and things got a little dicey. Apparently Seol Young got into an argument with the stylists regarding his appearance for his performance. He was reminded that he had no power over the decision this time around which made him get even angrier. He was angry because they wanted to remove the purple contacts that he had been wearing this entire time. Which would lead to people realising that purple wasn't his natural eye colour. His father's assets had been frozen yesterday as the investigation was now underway. This had him on edge for various reasons, as he worried about having his lies exposed to the public.

I smiled as I thought about him getting what he deserved for stealing my identity. This was going to be a fun recording next week. 'Enjoy your last week, you selfish punk' I thought to myself.
