"Hello So-Yeon," I say sheepishly. "Long time no see..." I continue giving a wry smile. She sighs, unfolds her arms and walks up to me. "You're hopeless you know that!" she states as she smacks me on the back of the head. "Nice to see you too" I reply, rubbing the spot on my head that was just obliterated.

Kim So-Yeon. The first friend that I made upon arriving in Korea. The only person who has helped me as much as my Aunt and Uncle. You could say we were best friends. She was of average height, but still beautiful. With long black wavy hair and hazel eyes with gold flecks scattered. She gives a sort of elegant and cold aura, but she is a bubbly and kind person when she wants to be. She is an aspiring actor, that was scouted by SM Entertainments acting division, and has already appeared in two dramas as a child actor.

After reacquainting with each other at the front of the school, the three of us headed to class for the day. I ended up falling asleep halfway through our second class and was scolded by the teacher, before being called up to answer the question on the board. Of course, I answered the question rapidly, and accurately before returning to my seat and waiting for the class to continue, much to the dismay of our teacher. School continued for the day, and by the time the bell rang to signal the end of school, I was exhausted. "Yo, Jin-Ho wanna hang out after school?" came a shout from Seungri. "I'm sorry, I can't," I replied, thinking about the training I have to start if I want to get back into shape.

Walking home from school, I took in the sights. Busy streets, people walking, many on business calls. I was having the time of my life just taking it all in when suddenly I felt sharp pain In my head, and everything went black.

I opened my eyes squinting from the bright light. Lifting my head and looked around, realising that I was in a hospital bed. "Oh, you're awake!" came a female voice. I looked around the room until I found a nurse sitting on the other side of the bed. "What happened?" I asked. The nurse quickly explained everything. I had been hit by a plant pot that had fallen from a window above where I was walking. It had knocked me out. Luckily I survived the hit, if the pot had landed any further forward on my head, I might have received some brain damage. The doctors gave me a check-up and decided to have me stay overnight just in case, and discharge me in the morning. My Aunt and uncle had been informed and would come and pick me up in the morning.

Going to sleep that night, I had strange dreams. In one I was busy writing and recording music with K-pop artists that I recognised, and some that I didn't. Another showed me Performing on a stage in front of millions of people. One showed me training other kids to sing and dance. And finally, one showed me falling off a cliff and dying, after saving a young child from falling. These dreams also brought more pain to my head as more and more kept appearing. Soon so many of them appeared that I realised that they weren't dreams, but memories. Memories of a past life, or more importantly, a life that had occurred in a different dimension. This was answered by my last dream, of me floating in a void, talking to a voice, that told me that he would reward me for all the good that I had done. He said he would give me a new life, with a family, and the talent to sing the songs that I wrote.

It turns out that in my past life, I was a small Idol and producer that was well-loved, but following an accident lost the ability to sing, and became depressed because he couldn't sing the songs that he wrote and loved so much. He began to share those songs with other Idols and groups which made them popular, and they appreciated him for it. Eventually, he also began to train other future idols, and one day, saved the life of one, but in return couldn't save himself. God had taken pity on his situation and granted him new life to fulfil his dream, but in return, I would have to face a tragedy before I could live the life I wanted. That was the death of my parents, the one fate that God couldn't change.

Waking up the next morning my head felt sore, and I was still exhausted mentally. It was worse than a hangover. The doctors preceded to give me a checkup and declared me to be healthy. I was then discharged from the hospital and brought home by my Aunty. I felt ready to begin chasing my dream again, this time with newfound motivation, and more talent and ideas brimming than before. I was going to become an idol, one that would shake the foundations of the industry. I knew I could do it as well. As the person I was now, was not only a better dancer, singer, rapper and musician. But I now had the memories and ability of the god-tier producer, talent scout and trainer of my previous life too. This made me feel excited about my future.

3 days later:

Waking on Saturday morning, today was the beginning of step 1 of my plan to become an idol.

Regain my old appearance. I had gained a bit of weight over time during my parents' deaths, and I had to regain that appearance that I lost. As the first thing that a scout looks for in an idol is their appearance. Next, I would go shopping for new clothes and fix up my style which had also deteriorated and was now made up of oversized hoodies and sweatpants. Finally, I would wake up my vocal cords, and brush out the cobwebs from my dancing and other skills. To summarize. I was going to regain the touch that I had lost.

My plan started with me running to the gym, where I would complete a massive workout, then run home. I would do this 4 times a week. Taking me 4 hours. I would also stay in my room and practice my singing, dancing and instruments for at least 3 hours every day. I would go online and use video chat apps to remember all of the languages that I had learnt, and most importantly, I went out and got a haircut. Returning my natural white hair from being the black that I had died it before coming to Korea. I was revitalised. Now I needed to prepare for auditions that were coming up in a couple of months. I also had to decide which company I would audition for. I thought about auditioning at a small company but decided against that, then decided to talk to my Uncle. He helped me decide to audition for either BigHit, SM, YG, or JYP as they were the most famous and had the most resources. I first eliminated YG, as they centred more on Hip-Hop which wasn't my style. I decided against SM, as my uncle worked there and I wanted to avoid being accused of using connections. As well as the fact that I remembered that EXO would debut this year, and so SM probably would be releasing a boy group any time soon afterwards. That left BigHit and JYP. I decided against BigHit since BTS would appear next year, and being 14 years old, meant that I would also miss out on TXT probably. So I finally decided to join JYP, which was one of my favourite companies anyway, due to the artistic freedom they gave to their artists and the fact that their owner and one of the producers, JYP was passionate about music, like me.

With that decision, I looked to find that auditions for JYP would be open in 2 months. Giving me plenty of time to work on what I would perform at the auditions. As none of the songs that I wrote in my past life, existed in this timeline, I decided that I would use those in this timeline for myself, which made me very happy, as these songs were the ones I cherished and wished to share with the world myself, instead of through various third-parties. I decided that I would re-produce my song "Move" which was used by Taemin in my previous life. I would also use the dance that I choreographed for him, as it worked well with this song, and would surely impress the judges. It is also a nod to the man my current self seems to share quite the likeness with in terms of appearance as well.

My school life was also pushing ahead at full steam. I had gotten together with my friends multiple times and told them about my progress. Seungri did not know much about singing and dancing, so he thought I was just good. However, So-Yeon had some knowledge and managed to provide me with some feedback. My grades were currently second only to So-Yeon which annoyed me a little, but I didn't let it show, but everything else was progressing nicely. If this world was a video game and I had a stat sheet, it would look a little something like this:
