Lord Albert Edward Howard is 15 years old when he is taken to his cotillion by his father, Lord Andrew Charles Howard in 2300 in search for his bride, but Lord Albert Edward tells his father " I want to find a young woman who is like my mother."

Both Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William Carey tell Lord Albert Edward "I don't think your late maternal grandfather and grandmother had a twin sister of your mother."

"I won't marry until I have found a young woman that has similar characteristics as my mother does." Lord Albert Edward tells his father and third cousin.

"My son. You have a rather tall order. What if you don't find that young woman?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.

"I will keep searching until I do, father." Lord Albert Edward states.

Lady Karissa walks in and Lord Albert Edward tells his mother " I want to marry a young woman just like you mother."

Lady Karissa looks at her son, and she tells him " Lord Albert Edward. I am not a saint and I am flawed with imperfections although your delusional father and third cousin doesn't think so."

"I am far from perfect, my dear son. I have so many imperfections, inadequacies, and I am very flawed." Lady Karissa tells her son.

"I don't see it mom. " Lord Albert Edward tells his mother.

"My dear son. You are just as blind as your father and third cousin." Lady Karissa tells her son.

"I wonder if you all are not ostriches with your heads buried under the sand." Lady Karissa tells her son.

"My dear Lord Albert Edward. You are only 15 years old and this is your first cotillion. You have many other cotillion to attend before you will find your bride." Lady Karissa tells her son.
