As the girls and I swam around the reef, Patrick was putting his free-diving skills to use along with Will and Zane. However, Zane had trouble with trying to stay under the water without an oxygen tank.

It had been not long since Lewis left to study abroad. He had managed to set up a Skype account so that whenever he called through it, I'd let Cleo know since she'd want to talk to him. Before leaving, Lewis asked me to keep record of the strange full moon events of the moon pool and more water tentacle incidents. I'd make sure to email him some photos and video recordings of everything.

Some minutes after getting to the moon pool and chilling, Will and Patrick surfaced.

"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm hungry," Cleo spoke up.

"It'd be a shame to leave," Will commented, "That was fantastic out there".

"It sure was," Patrick nodded while glancing at me at the same time.

"It helps having someone who knows where to look," Bella turned to him.

"Thanks," Will smiled at her.

Zane surfaced with a huge gasp for breath.

"Hey, what kept ya?" Patrick wondered.

"We were just deciding whether or not to go for lunch while we waited for you," Will added.

"Well, some of us can't spend every day messing around in the water," Zane stated still out of breath, "We've got real jobs to do."

I found that surprising coming from him. Though I had to admit, Zane changed a lot from the time I first met him, though sometimes, his jerk self sometimes showed up once in a while.

"He was only joking," Rikki sat up.

"My mouth filled up with water, and some went up my nose," Zane added and saw the rest of us staring at him, "It did." He wasn't used to diving without his scuba gear.

"Hey, that can happen," Will shrugged like it was no big deal.

"Well, I don't need you to confirm it."

"OK. Well, I guess now's a really good time to go to lunch," Rikki jumped in detecting Zane was about to start an argument.

"Definitely," Cleo nodded.

"Yeah, let's go," Bella agreed.

"I'm down," I smiled.

"Us people without tails might like a bit more of a break," Will pointed out.

"I'm good to go," Zane frowned.

"You sure?"

"I don't know about you, but I'm ready for lunch."

Zane got back in the pool and slid on his goggles. Will and Patrick did the same just the girls and I submerged back underwater and swam out of the cavern. The guys followed us shortly after.

After lunch, Rikki and Zane left to run the cafe. Patrick went to start his shift at the lifeguard tower. Will invited, Bella, Cleo, and me over to his place.

"That was so cool out there," Will remarked as all of us entered inside.

"Yeah, it was," Bella nodded.

"Hey guys, don't you think we've been so worried about the water attacking us lately," Cleo pointed out as she picked up the rock that had Will's flashlight embedded in it, "We never actually found out what happened with this rock." She placed it on the table.
