Holy Crap! Over 20K Reads!? This is a new thing even for me. Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to read this story and even enjoy it, when I first got the idea for this, I was basically, "You know what? No one's done this so I might as well."
A little secret I'm gonna let you guys in on is that I don't only write this story for you amazing people, I also write it for myself. I've always preferred stories in which those I feel are being forced to do evil things against their will or are doing it because of what others did makes me sympathetic towards them.
So if I perceive someone as being unnecessary evil, I often treat them with sympathy if I know the full story. But besides that, I am amazed my finally deciding to write a story like this has gotten such positive feedback.
