042. khan worm

"Sam. You're looking well." Samuel says.

"Save the small talk, all right?" Sam says.

"You seem different." Samuel notes.

"I got my soul back. No thanks to you, I hear." Sam says.

"You hear?" Samuel asks. "You don't remember." He realizes.

"I remember enough." Sam says.

"I, uh, really hate to break up this little circle of love, but why don't we talk shop, huh? How about you tell us what it is you're hunting?" Rufus asks.

"A create from Purgatory. She calls herself Eve." Samuel says.

"Eve?" Sam asks.

"Yep. They call her mother. She was here about 10,000 years ago. Every freak that walks the face of the earth can be traced back to her. And she's back." Samuel explains.

"How the hell do you know all that?" Bobby asks.

"You don't know half the things that I know, kid. Hell, until recently, you didn't even know about us." Samuel says.

"I now know that you'd throw your own kin to hungry ghouls. I think I know enough." Bobby says.

"You what?" Gwen asks.

"Dean lied to the man." Samuel says making Larissa roll her eyes.

"How about you ask Dean?" Bobby suggests.

"Good idea." Gwen leaves the room.

A few moments later, the group hear a gunshot and rush after where the sound came from. They find Gwen's body on the floor. Sam and Larissa rush off to try to find Dean.

Larissa starts to go a different way, but is stopped when Sam grabs her wrist.

"Whoa, whoa, wait." Sam objects. "Where-- what are you doing?"

"We might find him easier if we split up. Or find him at all." Larissa says.

"No. N-No. We-- we don't know what's out there. What's in Dean. It could've been what happened to the other guys." Sam says.

"Sammy, I'll be fine." Larissa says.

"It's just safer if we stay together." Sam says, his hand falling into hers. "You watch horror movies. You know it doesn't end well if you split up."

"Okay." Larissa relents. Sam relaxes, keeping a tight hold on her hand, and leading her around the place.

After failing to find him, they return to Gwen and the older three.

"Is she, uh...?" Sam asks. Rufus nods.

"Where's Dean?" Rufus asks.

"We couldn't find him. Whatever got into those guys must have got into Dean." Sam says.

"Rufus, help Samuel move her somewhere. Sam, Rissa, and I will lock down here. We're gonna want to find Dean before he finds us." Bobby says.

"We're gonna find him alive, Samuel, or I'm gonna put a bullet in your head." Sam threatens.

While going through the cannery and looking for Dean, Sam, Larissa, and Bobby lock the doors to the outside as they go. After that, they focus on finding Dean, looking through different rooms.

Sam calls Dean's phone and they hear it ring.

"Dean, put that damn thing down!" They hear Rufus demand. They follow the noise, finding Samuel and Rufus pointing their guns at Dean and Dean pointing his gun at the two of them.
