A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 2: Fireteam Eclipse.
When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. Their lifespans tripled and they expanded their civilization amongst the stars...
Dawn came sooner than I would have liked as I awoke to the blinding sunlight. And for once my readied Guardian was awake before me. No hint of a hangover coming from her, only determination on her face as she inspected her guns. Sukia noticed that I was awake and quickly rose to her feet, "You ready?"
"Uhhhh.. y- yeah..?" I stuttered a little, not used to seeing the brunette so motivated in the early morning. With a shining blue light from my Ghost shell I transported us to our ship and made our way to Nessus. I was surprised that Sukia didn't complain that Frost chose the location. But to be fair she probably would've picked the same battlefield too.

Once we arrived we saw that Frost was already waiting there with his Ghost at his side, making Sukia instantly lose her cool for her not showing up first. "Get your head on straight. This is going to be rough." I warned Sukia and checked the feed. As I thought, hundreds were watching this channel. Everyone wanting to see the two strongest Guardians wanting to face off on a one on one. I could see that even the Vanguard leaders were observing.

"Get ready.. START!" We heard Shaxx's voice boom and the two Guardians were spawned in on opposite sides of the map.
"Alright, Suki, we should- HEY!" Before I could finish my idea for a plan Sukia was already adjusting the helmet on her head before charging off to look for the other Hunter. She hunts him down and spots the red of her radar fairly fast and didn't hesitate to shoot him with a barrage of bullets from her sidearm.
