Will Pov

After fifteen minutes of petting, we went down to the other apes. I noticed that dusk would come quickly.

"Everything went well," Malcolm said.

"Yes, thank you," I replied, remembering how much he cared for me and Caesar.

"I'll always be on your side Will," he said smiling.

Then we went to eat dinner. Most of the apes started to feel comfortable around me which made me happy. Then Koba came up to us and I looked at his hand which was still bandaged.

"I think now would be a good time to take the bandage off," I said without doing anything so as not to startle the apes.

Koba didn't say anything but just put his hand closer to me as a sign that he believed me. I smiled and slowly removed his bandage. When I took it off, most of us were amazed. His wounds were almost healed and I was glad for that. Koba was surprised looking at his hand and then looked at me.

''Thank....you,'' he said.

"You're welcome," I replied.

I leaned against Caesar's body as he put his arm over my shoulder. During dinner, little apes came to keep us company and play. I noticed a sign in Caesar's home. That was the sign of the window! From my house! I got up and walked towards it not caring that almost everyone was looking at me. When I was close enough I put my hands to my face in amazement. Caesar made the shape of my window on his house. When he was little, he used to look through that window all the time. I became emotional so that a few tears ran down my cheek. Caesar came to me and hugged me.

''You put the shape of my window in your home,'' I said.

''Yes....honey,'' he replied.

After a few minutes we went back. When Caesar and I had eaten, together with Blue eyes we went to our little house. All three of us lay down in bed and put a blanket over us. The tension started to rise when Caesar and I looked at each other. We got closer to each other and started kissing. Caesar put his hands on my neck and cheek while I put mine around his neck. After a few minutes we stopped kissing and looked at each other.

"I love you Caesar," I said, snuggling closer to his chest.

"I...love....you....too....Will," he replied and kissed the top of my head.

I smiled knowing that now every day I would wake up in this beautiful home and see Caesar every day. I also learned a very big and important lesson that will follow me my whole life.
