"It's not the getting there. It's the staying and the leaving."
"If i get there, I won't even be able to really do everything because I need to make sure no one sees me. If someone see me, specifically the ones I've been hiding from then that will create all sorts of problems. If I leave and someone see me and follow me then boom now Monie is in danger anddd it will create all sorts of problems."

"I promised we wouldn't move again til after she graduates."

"So avoiding Atlanta all together is really the best option."

"Hey girly." She said.

"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Nun just tired."
"From what? School?" She questioned.
"Yeah. They den put me in AP biology, and ion even remember nun about no mitochondria ghee."
India giggles.
"And then they making me stay after school for some damn counseling cuz of all the fights they seen me in in my previous schoo."
"I don't need counseling again."
"Again?" India asked.
"Yeah, I used to go to a psychologist before I moved here."
"Dayum. Ian know dat." India said. "Ion kno a lot of stuff about you."
"Why you don't tell me nun?" India asked frowning.
