"You're back, finally," Evan hugged me tightly, spinning me around.
"It's only been a week," I laughed, hugging him back just as tight.
"Felt like longer," he admitted as he put me down.
"I got you merch," I told him with excitement. "Well, Ashton got it, I just asked,"
"Sick, thanks," he grinned. "I'm nervous to meet Ashton,"
"Why?" my eyebrows furrowed.
"What if he doesn't like me?"
I chuckled and shook my head, "He'll like you, don't worry,"
"Still,"
"What have you been up to?" I changed the topic.
"Absolutely nothing," he huffed. "My parents canceled our vacation,"
"Why?"
"Brother's basketball tournament," he rolled his eyes.
"Damn, that sucks,"
"It really does," he sighed. "But I'll be going to New York with you, so it's ok,"
"It'll be fun," I grinned. "I got motion sick last time I flew though,"
"Really?"
"Threw up like ten times,"
"Jesus,"
"It was not fun,"
"Doesn't sound like it," he said. We made it backstage, but the guys were on stage for the VIP fan experience.
"Here's your merch," I handed him the bag.
"This is awesome," he grinned, going through it before putting on the trucker hat.
"My favorite is the crew neck," I told him.
"Yeah, this is really cool," he agreed, then looked up at me, "You look pretty by the way," he told me, instantly making me blush.
"Thank you," I smiled, looking down. "You look nice too,"
"Thanks," he smiled. "My dad picked out my outfit," he said, which made me laugh.
"He has great taste,"
"Sometimes,"
Before I could respond, the door opened and Ashton came in followed by Michael, "Oh, Evan, that's Ashton and Michael," I introduced them.
"It's nice to meet you," Evan smiled at the two.
"You too," Ashton smiled.
"Sage talks about you a lot," Michael looked at me, making my face drop.
"Michael," I scolded, but he just laughed and walked off.
"Uh, how much do I owe you for the merch?" Evan asked Ashton, gesturing to the bag.
"Absolutely nothing, it's a gift," Ashton reassured him.
"Thank you," Evan smiled. Soon everyone else was coming in, so I was introducing Evan to them, and luckily everyone seemed to like him. I didn't know why, but I valued their opinions.
As Evan was talking to Calum and Michael about some videogame, Crystal came over to me with a small smile, "He's a keeper," she whispered, making me blush.
"Yeah, he is," I agreed.
