after a few hours I suddenly heard a noise from far away seeing an apple hit the side of my foot.

what the hell?

" Hey come back you thief! Hey!" looking at where the noise was coming from, a man was running chasing someone that looked like a kid. He has an uncut with a mark on his side of his cheek, he looks rather hurt or hungry.

I picked up the apple of the floor as I wiped it off with my sleeves

I wonder if that's the kid?

Following the both of them, they both ended up in a dead end where the garbage's where at.

" I'll show you what a thief like you deserves" Seeing the man aim his knife to him, my instinct reacted causing to pull my Kunai knife and aim close to his throat

" I think you should leave the kid alone before I decide to give you a lesson" U-Uchiha" he said with a frighten voice " Leave right now" he dropped his knife and ran off leaving me with the kid

" I could of handle it on my own!" he yelled at me angrily

" yeah but he probably would of killed you" I mentioned seeing something from his arm started to from

" I said I could handle it on my own!!!" He aimed at me but I quickly avoid it activiating my Sharingan eye

crap.. this isn't good

Quickly I read his movement and landed behind him as he tried to strike at me several times. Pulling out my Katana, I strike through him quickly put purposely missed stabbing through the wall. He gave out a frighten look in his eyes as he arm went back to his original form.

" Look I'm not looking for a fight, just to bring you back where your suppose to be" I said seeing his face went back to anger

" No you cant! you can't put me back there! Not again!" seeing his face being frighten I tried to snap him back to reality

" Hey Kid! calm down!" I said to help put my hands on his shoulders " Listen to my voice! Your here! No one's going to hurt you!" hearing him breath heavily, I could sense how scared he was

He reminded me of Sasuke for some reason.. a kid nowhere to run to

Rushing I hugged him tightly hoping he would calm down at least. He was shaking like crazy and I could feel the tears falling down his eyes

what happened to this kid..

At the hospital, I helped clean up the wound he had on his shoulder and arm. It wasn't bad but needed a few stitches to close his deep wounds. He was resting in his hospital bed finally able to calm down.

" Where did you said you found him?" I asked Naruto

" He came outside from the village, that was all I knew from Boruto" Naruto mentioned " We still need to make some test hoping he isn't a danger to the village"

" His powers are nothing I've seen before."

" Yes, we may have to keep him here to keep an eye on him" remembering from earlier, his frightened eyes were something I couldn't bear to look away

Is this really the right thing to do? A kid left from being watched in a room that isn't home?

" let me take him," I said to Naruto as he looked at me surprised " Let me take care of him"

He reminded me of Sasuke when he was a kid. His state was something I understood and wanted to change for him for some reason

" Amaya-san" Naruto smiled at me " Are you sure? Will Kakashi be fine with it?"

" Yes, I'll make him agree if I have to because this kid... I don't know, he's special to me"

Kakashi's P.O.V.

Heading my way home, I was ready to take a nap on my bed. Open the door I took my shoes off

" I'm home!" I said as I closed the door, noticing more than one pair of shoes on the floor.

Do we have a guest?

Walking over to the dining room, I could smell the delicious smell of food Amaya was making.

" Hey Kakashi" she smiled pouring the soup onto the bowl with a kid sitting at the diner

" Hey, who the kid?" I asked

" A new member of our family," she said

Did she say, new member?

"B-Before you say anything, Let's try it out and see how it goes! I know this coming from all of a sudden but I think it'll be worth it!" she set the food down as she put her hands on the kids' shoulders

" Amaya.." I said her name softly

" I want to take care of him... He deserves someone that will love him and I think we are fit for that!" Looking down at the kid, he was an odd fella but seeing Amaya give her all, I couldn't step away from

" You really want to take care of him?" I asked her seeing her face turn red nodding to me as a yes " Then let's get married"

As her face turn crazy red, the kid didn't know what was going on.

" Let's get married and become a family... Like I told you that is all that I wanted" walking towards her, I held her hand " to be with you... "

I could see the tears form in her eyes as she hugged me tightly. I never had the courage to ask her to marry me until now. She was feeling joyful and wanted to do anything that could make her happy.

A family we can be..

I pulled away from Amaya and went to down at the same level as the kid. He was a bit shy but knew he will grow out of it. " What is your name kid?" I said to him rubbing his messy hair

" Kawaki.." he said shyly seeing a bit of red on his cheeks

" Well Kawaki.. welcome to the family"
