Aki was fighting for the lives of his whole team. At least for the ones he knew could be saved. His sword was finally out of its hilt fully, its form in the shape of a huge nail.
The devilman and Aki battle it out, dodging vigorously and attacking viciously.
The devil hunter's weapon was imbued with a curse and every time he attacked the devilman, it was a critical hit. Power held her palm over Himeno's wound as she watched the fight, the woman's blood staining her white shirt.
He would call out to the curse, asking for its aid with each puncture, a cruel and sickening sound resonating each time.
The devilman kicks Aki into rubble, making him gasp in pain.
"You're using something real ominous there." The devil man's dark voice remarks.
"Curse! Finish him!" Aki orders.
And with those words, it obeys.

The devil man's body spurts out blood like waterfalls, creating a pool before he falls in it, unmoving and silent.

Aki wipes his mouth before turning to Power. "How is Himeno?!"
"We should get her to a doctor quick." Power looks up at him, Himeno's head on her lap.
Aki sweats with worry, his voice shaky. "He was using a fucking gun. Even though only the police and devil hunters are allowed to have them."
He blinks. "First things first. Let's get Himeno taken care of and search for Senka..."
A presence appears behind him, making him stand straighter.
