y'all... again... it's been a while lmao. I've been busy trying to figure out how to pay for my therapy 😚 so that's fun. fuck America's economy. alas, here's my sleep deprived attempt at a chapter. I'll wrtie smut later for u guys 😘

My eyes start to droop. I slap my face to keep myself awake as I readjust my position on the chair. It's been 4 days since Kenji fell asleep. I have been sitting here this whole time.

Waiting.

I know he's going to wake up, so I have to be here to help him.

I eat sometimes, but sleep has barely come. Every time I start to doze off, I snap awake, fear coursing through me. I can't place the feeling, I'm just scared and can't relax.

This is awful.

Kenji's not responding to anything I do.

I zoned everyone out who knows when. My head filled with Kenji.

I squeeze his hand. I look at him, dazed.

What if he's really gone? What am I going to do? I need him. Fuck being independent, I don't want to be alone. I want to be independent with him by my side!

"Kenji, Kenji, Kenji." He's all I need. Look at me, with him gone I'm nothing, completely useless. "Wake up, please." My voice cracks as the tears fall. Not many, probably because I'm dehydrated as fuck.

"Wake up, wake up, please."

"Darling, begging really does suit you."

My whole body sharpens as I look frantically at him.

"Open." His eyes are open. He's awake! Oh god. I stand up, confused. What do I do?! "Doctor, I'll- I'll call for a doctor." I turn, stumbling a bit, lightheaded.

"Dear. Calm down."

"How am I supposed to calm down!? Do you know how long it's been?!! No of course you wouldn't, I'm stupid. You need to be checked."

"I'm fine-"

"NO" I gasp, my heart hurts from the energy used. "...no. Please. I need you to be okay. Anything, as long as you're okay, I'll give anything." My eyes are blurry from the tears but I can see him open his arms as he sits up. I fall into them, exhausted.

His arms wrap around me. I've missed this. I curl into him. My whole body is becoming weak and I can't keep my eyes open.

"Exactly how I planned."

"Hmm?" I shift my head.

"Oh nothing darling, just sleep. I'll be here for you, forever."

"Forever?"

"Yes. I promise I'll never let you leave."
