I just remembered that school's starting back soon.
I swear that this has felt like the shortest/boring-est summer ever.

Rosemary's POV
I groan as to turn over only to have my body burn everywhere with pain.
Ugh, fuck.
Note to self, never rile up a horny vampire.
Especially if that horny vampire is my mate.
"Rise and shine, beautiful" a cheery voice says as they enter my bedroom
The smell of bacon enters through my nose causing me to open my eyes so that I can stare up at the female vampire.
"Fuck you" I groan out
Noticing the plate of food in her hands, I try my best to sit up.
I have to move slow in order to feel the least amount of pain as possible.
"But we did last night," she teases
I glare at her as I finally sit up in my bed, resting my back against my cold headboard.
"Plus you seem like you're in way too much pain to possibly go again" she says with a smug smirk
I flip the vampire off as she places the place of food on top of my lap as well as a glass of orange juice on my night table.
"Go fuck yourself, Harper" I tell her
The girl doesn't take me too seriously, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead before taking a seat on the carpet beside my bed.
I furrow my eyebrows at her.
Why is she sitting on the floor?
"Just giving you your space until you cool down" she answers my silent question
I scoff before taking a bite out of one of the pieces of bacon.
"You practically immobilized me, the last thing I need from you is space" I say underneath my breath, knowing that she can hear me
She chuckles a bit, but makes no effort to move as she just stares up to me.
"Your body seems to be handling my mark quite nicely," she mutters
"Does it hurt?"
I shake my head, using my fork to take a bite out of my waffle.
"No, it itches" I reply monotonously, still waking up
The white haired girl nods her head.
"That's normal, it should go away by the end of the day" she assures me
I nod my head as I continue to eat my food, needing all of the energy that I can get.
As I grab another slice of bacon I realize that the white haired girl hasn't said anything in a few minutes.
"What's wrong?" I ask, handing her the slice of bacon
"What do you mean?" She asks back as she accepts the piece of bacon, taking a bite out of it
"You're usually pretty quiet, but recently you've been more quiet than normal"
The vampire sighs as she adjusts her position so that she is now sitting with her legs crossed.
