chapter 17- buying a new house?

Harper p.o.v.

It's been 3 weeks since we told everyone we are having a baby. Max has been super possesive but also super supportive. My emotions have been all over the place, one minute I'm really happy and the next I'm crying my eyes out over something so small.

I'm sat on my bed browsing on shopping websites for our baby when max walks in. He smiled softly at me and pecks my lips.

"Hey my babies, how are you both?" He asks.

"Hey, we are okay. Hows your day been?" I asked.

Max has been helping damien out with pack business with something to do with other alphas and paying them off with what alpha drake owed or something. He hasn't gone into much detail saying he doesn't want to worry me.

"Its been okay. We have finally managed to pay all the alphas off with what was owed. Some alphas were grumpy and wanting more then what was owed but we said about the contact and if they are wanting a war so eventually they just took the money. However I'm finally done with having to do that now. All I have to do is show jack some more stuff he needs to learn and then I will be handing down my beta position to him" max said.

I nodded softly.

"No war will happen right ?" I asked a little worried.

He shook his head softly.
"No baby. I'm only telling you about this now because it's been sorted so you have nothing to worry about. I didn't say anything before as I didn't want you to worry. " he said softly.

I sighed but understood where he was coming from.

"I just don't want you to be to stressed as well baby" I said to him with wobbly lips.

He cooed at me and wrapped me protectively in his arms.

"Baby you don't need to worry about me. It's over now anyways. So what have you been doing baby?" Max asked softly.

"Well I have been looking online for what we need to buy for our baby. However I feel like this room will be to small for us all" I said.

He nodded in agreement.
"I have been thinking about us getting our own house. Still in the pack boarders but just not the pack house. I want us to have our own home" max said.

I smiled nodding at him.

"That sounds like a plan." I said.

"So she we start looking to buy one?" Max asked softly.

"Yes" I squealed excitedly.

For the next few days we kept browsing and looking on the internet for a perfect house. We only have a months left until our baby is here. We find out next week if we are having a boy or girl. This pregnancy is going so fast.
