*at Oliver's*

The elevator opens, and we head inside his apartment. "Oliver," Clark says angrily.

"Look, Clark, whatever's got your tighty whities in a bunch now is not the time," Oliver says, glancing at me. I shrug my shoulders.

"Where's Bart? I saw his phone records. I know he's workin' for you."

"Not for me. Working with me. There's a difference," Oliver corrects.

"It's not gonna matter when he ends up in jail or worse."

"Yeah, you don't know what you're talking about."

"I know how much you hate Lex. Is that why you recruited Bart? To help with your little vendetta?"

"Clark, stop," I scold.

"It's okay, Callie," Oliver assures me. "No. To stop 33.1," he admits.

"You know about 33.1?" Oliver nods. "Why didn't you tell me what you were up to?"

"Clark, do you check in with me every time you run off to save the world," Oliver points out. "Oh, that's right. You know, for a second there, I forgot. You like to just wait for trouble to show up on your doorstep."

"That's not true," Clark defends.

"Then why haven't you done anything to stop 33.1?"

"I was busy with another problem."

"What could be more urgent than Lex Luthor developing an army of super freaks, Clark? That's what he's doing. He's starting a war," Oliver admits.

"Both of you stop," I snap, glaring at them. "What have you found out?"

"Not enough. Last night Bart infiltrated a place that was supposed to house the mainframe for 33.1. That's the last time I heard from him," Oliver sighs. "So I reconned the target this morning. The place had been stripped clean. Everything's gone. Whole thing was a setup."

"Lex has Bart," I say making them look at me. "We have to find him."

"My team's already on it."

"Your team," I question confused. The elevator door opens, and we look back to see Arthur Curry and Victor Stone.

"Not everybody flies solo, Kent," Victor says.

"A.C., check the LuthorCorp manifests," Oliver says.

"Gotcha."

"How long have you guys been working together," Clark asks.

"I joined up about six months ago. Ollie and Bart had already been doing their thing," Victor replies.

"What about your girlfriend, Katherine," Clark questions.

"Dude, don't even go there," A.C. shakes his head.

"She gave it her best shot. But with all this hardware in me..."

"I'm sorry, Victor," Clark sighs.

"Ollie found me. I was livin' on the streets. He gave me a warm meal, roof over my head... and a reason to go on living," Victor explains. I look over at Oliver, who's watching a screen. I smile to myself.

"Did he just say something nice to me," Oliver questions.

"Maybe he's startin' to rust," A.C. suggests.

"A.C., how'd you fall into all this," I ask.

"I got into a little trouble sinkin' a whale off the coast of Japan," he answers.

"A little trouble? That's what you're going to go with," Victor scoffs. "Ollie had to save your scaly butt from getting filleted."

"I would have gotten out of it," A.C. chuckles.

"Oh, really? Before or after they packed you into a 1000 little tin cans," Oliver pipes in.

"Well, at least, he would've been dolphin safe."

"Fish jokes. That's all I ever get are fish jokes," he says making me chuckle.

I walk over to Oliver, and he glances at me. "I didn't realize you were such an amazing person," I admit.

"Well, you know," he shrugs. I stand on my tippy toes and kiss his lips softly. Everyone whistles, and Clark stares at me in shock. "All right, let's focus on locating Bart."

"And how exactly did you get him involved in this? He's never been much of a team player," Clark says.

"Uh, looks like you two have something in common, huh," Oliver says, looking up at Clark. "Actually, um, I was out on patrol in Star City one night and I came across Bart. He was helping himself to a free meal. I could tell he was a good kid, you know? He just needed a little direction so I offered him a job."

"Look where that got him," Clark says.

"I underestimated Lex. It won't happen again," Oliver assures him. "I've compiled a list of all LuthorCorp holdings within a hundred mile radius. Bart could be held in any one of those facilities."

"That's a lot of real estate to cover," Victor says.

"I think I know someone who can narrow it down," Clark admits.

"Chloe," I nod.
