*a few days later*

"How long do I have to do this for," I groan.

"I thought you enjoyed yoga," Oliver smirks.

"I do, but this is starting to hurt," I say.

"Well, this is a good way to strengthen your core."

I grab his shoulder and pull him down on the floor. I climb on top of him, pinning him down. "I think my core is pretty strong," I say.

"Mm. You keep thinking that," he nods, before I stand up. I hold out my hand, and he takes it. I pull him up, walking over to my water and taking a swig of it. "So, what have you been to up to, anyway? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages."

"Oh, you know... this and that," I shrug.

"This and that?"

"Mhm," I nod.

"You mean, like... hunting down serial killer phantoms with your brother from another planet," He says.

"Exactly. Just this and that," I say making him chuckle.

"You could literally save the world and shrug it off like it's nothing," he points out.

"That's because I don't do what I do for the fame and fortune. I do it because it's the right thing to do."

"Every day you become more and more hard to resist," he admits, biting the corner of his lip.

"Oliver--"

"I know, I know. Just friends," he nods.

"I'm sorry," I sigh.

"No, I get it. It's not the right time. It's complicated."

"No, Ollie, you don't get it."

"What do you mean?"

"There is nothing I want to do more than kiss you right now, but I can't," I admit.

"Why can't you," he asks, stepping toward me.

"I don't want to hurt you," I say.

"You won't," he assures me. He brushes a strand of hair to the side, looking down at my lips.

"Ollie--"

"If I can't kiss you, then stop calling me that because you're making it harder and harder every time you do," he whispers.

"I, um... I have to go," I say, stepping back. "I'll talk to you later, okay?" He nods quietly, and I head toward the elevator.

*that night*

"Can I get one more shot, please," I ask the bartender.

"Anything for you," he nods making me smile. He slides me another shot, and I down it.

"All right, I'm gonna hit the road," I say, standing up from the barstool.

"See ya, Callie. Don't be a stranger this time," He says.

"Yeah, yeah," I chuckle. I head out of the bar, walking down the sidewalk. I feel a chill run up my spine, and I shiver.

As I'm walking, I hear footsteps behind me. I glance back, but I don't see anyone.

Huh.

I keep walking when a hand suddenly wraps around my mouth. My eyes widen, and I try to elbow the person, but they catch my elbow. They pull me back into an alleyway, but I step on their foot. They release me and I spin around. "That one's gonna cost you," he says, pulling out a gun. "Why don't you take off that tight little skirt of yours," he says.

"Yeah, that's not happening, asshole," I hiss.

"Oh, really," he scoffs, cocking his gun. "Take it off... now," he repeats.

"Looks like you're gonna have to shoot me," I shake my head. He fires the gun, and the bullet flies past my shoulder barely missing it.

"That was a warning shot. The next one goes in your stomach," he says, approaching me. My back hits a fence, and he breaths in deeply. "You smell amazing," he whispers. "Get naked. Now," he growls. I don't move. "I guess you need a little bit of help," he chuckles. He yanks at my skirt, and I feel the rage inside me bubbling.

"Get the hell off me," I shout. His body flies backward, and he hits the ground.

He growls, pushing himself off the ground. "What the hell are you? You some kind of freak or something? Maybe I should do this city a favor and get rid of you," he says, pointing the gun at me.

Suddenly, an arrow goes right through his hand causing him to drop the gun. "Maybe you should leave the lady alone," I hear a familiar voice say. I look over to see the Green Arrow pointing his crossbow at him.

"You people are fuckin' freaks," he says, before disappearing down the alleyway. I sigh in relief, looking over at him.

"You okay," He asks, not removing his hood.

"I am, thanks to my savior," I nod, approaching him. "And you know what? I think... you deserve a token of my appreciation," I add. I pull him down by his collar, pressing my lips against his.
