I saw him holding her in his arms, caressing her cheek like a lover would. I didn't know who she was. But it didn't matter. She didn't matter.
But he did.
He was the one who promised me the world. My peace in the chaos. The silence in the screams.
But it was all gone now. He lied to me, betrayed me, humiliated me.
Then why is it that even now, it's his arms that I want to run into?
