I got jump scared by the doorbell going off, tonight my mother would be go gambling most of our life savings with her friends.

"Coming!" I yelled, I unlocked the door to see Zak wearing my hoodie. "Hey!" He cheered, "Hi.." I mumbled; still upset about what happened earlier today. "I packed my bag, how long am I allowed to stay?" He asks enthusiastically, "As long as my mother allows u to." I stammered.

"Understandable, do u wanna watch this new tv show? I heard it's really interesting!" He exclaimed, why was he acting so happy? "Sure, but uh.. why are you acting so happy? Aren't u sad we lost?" I faltered, "Meh." He replied before hopping on to the couch.

I follow him and grab the remote resting on the coffee table, "Sorry for the smell of beer, me and my mother have been trying to get rid of that scent for days." I apologise. "It's alright." He mutters, "So what's the show?" I asked.

"Heartstopper." He smiles, "Mk, I've never heard of it." I answered. I opened up Netflix and searched up, 'Heartstopper'.

"Is this it?" I questioned, he nods. "Do u want something to eat?" I asked him, "-I'm starving" I finished. "Yeah sure." Zak says as the movie started, I sat up and went to the pantry.

I grabbed heavy amounts of food, I'll just throw it up after. I've been getting used to doing this.

"Here!" I returned to the couch, "Woahh, can we finish that?" He gasped. "I don't know." I sat back down, Zak grabbed some Oreos while I grabbed some chips.

"The episode is already 10 minutes through!" He letted me know.

~~~
"We already finished the first season already?!" I giggle. Zak yawns, "I'm tired.." he mumbles. "Me to, wanna go to sleep?" I ask him, "Mhm.." he mutters tiredly as he bit on the hoodie strings.
"I mean- you can sleep with me, but u have the right side and I have the left? Sorry that's all I can do.." I suggest, "That'll be fine." He smiles. "Okay, cmon!" I lead him upstairs.
Zak laid on my double bed as I searched for another blanket in my closet, there is no way I'm gonna share a blanket with him. Not saying it like in a bad way but it's just that last time I shared a blanket with my father he stole the whole sheet!
"Will the blue one be fine?" I questioned him, "Yeah sure!" He exclaims. I laid the silk blue blanket over Zak, "Is that okay?" I made sure. "Thanks, and yes it is." Zak replies.
I walked over to my side, "I'm turning off the lights now... okay?" I told Zak. "Alright, goodnight Darry.." he smacked his lips
"Goodnight."
