I woke up the next day and I felt sad. It just didn't feel right anymore without Anna next to me. It was like I just wanted her all the time.

"Good morning son." My dad said.

"Good morning dad." I said.

"You think I can meet Anna before I leave?" He asked.

"I'm sure she'd love to meet you. I'll call her." I said.

My dad nodded as I smiled, calling Anna.

"Hi Jorel. Everything okay?" Anna asked.

"Hey yes everything's fine. You think you can come over? My dad wants to meet you." I said.

"Of course I can! I'll be there in 5." She said.

"Okay." I said.

I hung up as I turned back to my dad.

"She'll be here in 5." I said.

"She seems like a really sweet girl for keeping you happy like that. I'm sorry I had no idea what was going on." He said.

"It's not your fault dad I promise." I said.

"I'm trying to make it where your mother leaves so you can be happier here, and be wherever you want." He said.

"It's okay if nothing works dad, just always visit me." I said.

My dad smiled as Anna knocked on the door.

I opened it and Anna was there smiling. I couldn't help but smile she was so pretty.

"Come in." I said.

My dad stood up and it was cute to see how much of a height difference there was.

"Hi I'm Anna." Anna said softly.

"Hi Anna, I'm Jorel's dad Miles." My dad said.

"Lovely to meet you." She said.

"I like her." My dad said.

"Me too." I said.

"Don't worry about his mother in there, she's a real b word." My dad said.

Anna smiled a bit as I sat on the couch with her.

~Anna's POV~

I met Jorel's dad and I admit his dad was really cool. I had wished Jorel wouldn't lose him otherwise he'd be stuck there with his mom.

"Who's here?" Jorel's mom asked.

"Mom it's just Anna don't get your hopes up." Jorel said.

"I told you I didn't want her over." She said, looking at me.

"I can leave." I said.

"No. Mom why don't you like her?" He asked.

"Because she looks like a whore." She said.

"Room. Now." He said, taking his mom in the room.

"I am so sorry Anna." Miles said.

"It's okay, that's not the first time someone's called me that." I said.

"They never usually fought like that, we all used to be a really good family until his mom just turned into this controlling freak." He said.

"I am so sorry." I said.

"Enough about me. What's your family like?" He asked.

"Well, my dad left when I was 14 and he passed away due to a car accident a few days later. My mom is a very lovely woman, and she has a husband named Todd. He's really sweet too." I said.

"I am very sorry for your loss. Any siblings?" He asked.

"Nope. Just me." I said.

"How is that like?" He asked.

"Very boring but it's better when Jorel is around." I said.

Miles smiled, it was nice to see at least one of his parents liked me.

"I am so close to having his mom leave and quitting my job so I can stay." Miles said.

"I'm sure Jorel would really like that. He really loves you." I said.

"He said that?" He asked.

"He did." I said.

Unfortunately after our conversation we heard some yelling so his dad and I just watched loud football.
