Yana's POV:

I survived a whole day with him yesterday. I still can't believe that I'd see him in person again and not only that I'm working for him now, I'm also living under his roof. I finished up clearing out his pad last night before I went to bed cause I have an early class this morning. I'd grab some groceries for him after school since they've provided me with a card that I could use in buying his necessities.

Jess: "Hey Yana, want to go with us tonight? We'll go to the movies with Eric."

Nick: "You can even pick the movie, just go with us for once."

Jess and I have lived together for 2 years, she was my first friend when I moved here in L.A.

Then along the way we've met her now boyfriend Eric and his best friend Nick. I would say they're my closest friends now, but I've always felt bad because even if I know they're genuine towards me, I still have my walls. I can't change it anymore, I'm not able to fully trust anyone else but myself now. Not even the people who have cared enough to help me start again.

Dorothy is the name of the woman who have provided me a temporary home after that horrifying event in my life. She was one of the doctors in the hospital where I was brought to after my rescue few years back. Even her family was really nice to me, they didn't really want me to leave. But I knew I had to, I couldn't be of any burden to those people anymore. They've helped me enough. Besides I needed to get away from that place anyway. I still visit whenever I can. As a sign of gratitude.

Yana: "Sorry guys, working today. And it might stay this way for a little while. At least a year, if my boss won't quit me earlier than that of course."

Jess: "That sounded like a threat, saying that your boss is the one to quit you, hahaha but honestly I could agree. Don't know how I survived living with you for 2 years."

Yana: "No clue either."

Eric: "But you still miss her everyday though!"

I faced the man behind me, gave him a little smile and he did the same, before walking to Jess and giving her the longest passionate kiss ever existed. Me and Nick had to look away.

Yana: "Okay people get a room, like seriously. Anyway, you guys enjoy, maybe when I get another free time, I can visit you for dinner or something."

Jess: "You should, like girl- stop, I seriously still have separation anxiety. I haven't even interviewed the new potential roommates, just in case you decide to come back."

Eric: "Why don't I rent out that space then?"

Jess: "Is this some kind of ambush? So you could come live with me? I say no."
