Chapter 59

A/N: covid-19 pandemic will never happen in this story.

My sight was drawn to Sandro as I browsed through my reviewers. He's currently sleeping in my bed.

He came to help me in studying for my board exams. Galing pa siya sa work at bumyahe pabalik dito sa Ilocos kaya pagod at nakatulog din after ako tulungan mag review.

He's extra patient. Do I truly deserve someone like Sandro to love me? He's too good to be true.

He genuinely meant it when he said he'd court me again. He often show up here in Ilocos just to visit me and help me with board exams.

Whenever he's here, he'll take me out to loosen up. We'll go to the beach to watch the sun set. He wants me to unwind because I sometimes forget how to do so. I'm always sticking my nose on the reviewers.

He always sends me a bouquet of yellow tulips once a week.

Sandro never failed to bring a smile to my face. He treats me with care. Much more sweeter.

I stood up after closing my reviewer. Nag stretch muna ako bago maglakad papunta kay Sandro. I sat on the floor, staring into his face.

Ang gwapo hehe.

I moved his hair to his ear because it was covering his eyes. But when his eyelids opened, I was startled.

I was about to remove my hand when he grabbed it. Then he gave a sweet smile.

"Admiring my face, are we?" he asks, a teasing tone in his voice. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Hindi ah," I said, standing up while my wrist was still on his, causing him to pull me on top of him. "Ay gago!"

He chuckled and replied, "Bad words." Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin pero nakangiti lang siya saakin ngayon. "Lie down next to me, take a nap, and let's cuddle."

"Ang harot mo."

"Come here na," he said as he shifted to the opposite side of the bed to make space for me.

I don't have a choice but to lie down on the mattress. Nagulat nalang ako nang bigla siyang yumakap sakin.

"Tricky huhh." With a chuckle, I said.

"Nikki?" I responded with a hum. "I'm planning to run for Congress."

"Buo na ba ang loob mo, Sands?" I asked quietly.

"Yeah... That's why I'm informing you about my decision." I bit my lip before kissing his temple.

"Go on, Sandro, you have my support."

"Wait, wait, wait. Charls, don't tell me you're bringing that book to the beach." Tanong ni kuya dahil nakita niya akong pababa na may hawak na libro.

"Then I'm not going to say it."

"Mama si Charls pinipilosopo ako!"

"Sa May na yung board exam kuya, I have to double time!" I explained.

"You've already been studying for several months. Chill ka muna for this week kaya?" He said. Iniintay namin ngayon yung parents namin.

The Marcoses and Vazquez families, as well as Pam, Clyde, and Bryan, will celebrate Sandro's 27th birthday in Pagudpud Beach.

Sa march 7 kasi, sa Laoag siya mag-ccelebrate. Akala ko pa nga sa Manila siya mag celebrate dahil andun ang trabaho niya. Pero sabi niya kay tito na sa ilocos nalang.
