"Congratulations Graduates!" we all cheered as we tossed our caps into the air and caught them again. Nagkatinginan kami ni Sandro habang magkahawak ang kamay.

"Congratulations, Love," I congratulated him. He drew me into a tight hug.

"Congratulations to you as well, my future Doctor."

"Nikki! Sandro! I'll take pictures of you two," says Liam, our class photographer. "I want to take a picture of the cutest pair in our batch!" said Liam.

"Alright, mate." Nakangiting tugon ni Sandro. While we were in piggyback ride position, Liam shot a picture of me and Sandro.

"This is a good one. I'll send it to our editor, so we may feature your photo in our yearbook."

"Really?" Nakangiting saad ko. "That would be nice, Liam."

After taking our picture, Liam left. Sandro grabbed my hand and dragged me away.

"There they are," He pointed at our parent's location. We ran towards our lovely parents.

Nakangiti nila kaming sinalubong. Sandro went to his mother and father's side. While me, I went to my parents. My mother hugged me. "Congratulations my baby." Naiiyak na tugon ni mommy.

"Thank you, mommy," I said warmly. My father patted my head.

"I'm so proud of you, dear one." He said.

"Onti nalang dad, may doktor na kayo," I said with an earnest grin.

"Congratulations, Nikki and Sandro," Tito bongbong said. Nagbeso kami ni tito Bongbong.

"Thank you po, tito." I looked at Tita Liza when she spoke.

"Congratulations, mga anak. I'm glad you kept your promise that your relationship will not interfere with your studies. Pa hug nga ako." Lumapit ako sakanya para yumakap.

"Honestly, mom, when Nikki and I lived together, we became more mature," Sandro explained. Napangiti naman ang parents namin. I encircled Sandro's waist with my arms.

"We were able to stand on our own," I added.

"Kinikilig ako sa relasyon nitong dalawang ito."

"Same pare, we might hear the wedding bells soon," my father replied, and I scratched my head. Tito bongbong was in favor.

"Kayo talagang dalawa. Don't put any pressure on these two with the wedding," Tita Liza scolded her husband and my father. "Darating rin yan."

"Liza is right, and they are the ones who should decide about that. Para kasing mas excited pa kayong dalawa ikasal si Sandro at Nikki eh." Parehas naman napakamot sa ulo si Tito Bongbong at Daddy. Maya-maya ay nagyaya na ang parents namin kumain. Nauunang naglalakad silang apat, habang kami ni Sandro ay nasa likuran.

When he came to a halt, I looked at my boyfriend. "Why?" I inquired. He took my left hand in his. Sandro reached inside his pocket for something. It's a box.

"This isn't an engagement ring yet, but don't worry, you'll be wearing it soon," he said with a wink.

"So, what is that?" I inquired as he opened the box, which contained two rings. Sandro put the small one on my ring finger. Isinuot naman niya yung medyo malaki. I grinned warmly, and he did the same. He cupped my face in his hands.

"I'm going to show you that promises aren't meant to be broken."
