I left slime to stay with Shizu while I went and decided to help with the rebuilding, I don't want to intrude on those two so I gotta preoccupy myself with something
After awhile me and the goblins had gotten a pretty good amount of work done with the rebuild, the adventurers even helped out
At some point though I felt a change in the vectors with slime and Shizu, one was gone while the other felt different
The adventurers and Rigurd were all going to the hut to check on Shizu so I went along to see what was different
When we got there Rigurd looked shocked as well as the other three, making my way in I discovered why
"Slime?"
It was a young woman? With blue hair naked, though there were no parts so it wasn't weird, well too weird anyway
Even though it was a human I could tell it was slime, the blue hair helped along with the fact the vectors feel just like slime's even if it's a different body
Though I knew how he would have gotten that body and was confused. He ate Shizu, why? Did Shizu want him to? That makes the most sense, he cared for her even if they didn't know each other long so it's the most likely scenario
Ranga could also tell it was his master so due to the shock they had slime explained
So she really did ask to be eaten. Well it was a kind gesture on slime's part, not only granting her wish but also letting her rest peacefully endlessly dreaming happy dreams, it's probably what most would want in their death, to be happy after it
The adventurers were gonna stay just another day to get rid of their shock while slime decided he'd get used to the body, so effectively kicking him out of my home I decided I'd just work on a holster for the gun I made then sleep

So next day, the adventurers all left not before asking slime to turn human then saying heartfelt things to Shizu, honestly they're idiots but they are nice people
Before they left though slime told them just how bad the armor they had was so he got them some way better stuff, courtesy of Kaijin
They actually looked like adventurers now and not adults using trash as clothes, and I let them now this, they were upset but quickly got over it thanks to the armor, they then left promising that they'd only say good things about the village and slime, as well as me
Slime then left to do whatever while he told the goblins that we should get started on the rebuild and that's what we did

It was a while, maybe a month or so, I honestly didn't keep too much track of time so i wouldn't know but we've done good
We still got basically tents but they're bigger and much more sturdy so I'd say they can qualify as semi-houses
The dwarves also worked on making clothes for the goblins, they also made one for slime and I gotta say, it was nice, definitely drip..."I can't believe I just said that"
I saw slime go into his tent looking around cautiously, I debated on going in or not but decided just not, didn't care
A while later he came out with his clothes and told me he would go to the cave to test out some new skills and asked if I wanted to come, I said yeah since I was curious as to what he got that's new
