"Heavens! What happened to both of you?!" Gulat na gulat na tanong ng nanay ni Lucille nung makita kaming dalawa ni Perci. "There's even a blood on you! Amira, call a physician! Quickly!"

Mabilis na sinunod ni Amira ang utos ng Duchess. She, too, was shocked to see me in this state. Nagkakagulo tuloy ang mga tao dahil sa nangyari sa amin.

"You really looked like you had a fight with ten bears." Mahinang komento ni Remus na nasa tabi ko at pakunwaring nagaalala sa akin. Ang buong akala ko ay makakatakas kami ni Perci at makakapagtago sa kanila. They immediately caught us and brought us here in the room where I stay.

I caught a glimpsed of what kind of disaster I've become earlier. Super messy hair with leaves sticking out of it, dirt all over me, and a ruined dress. Yup, definitely looked like I survived a near death experience. Remus didn't lie when he said that I looked like I fought with ten bears. I just tsk-ed and roll my eyes on him.

"Ate okay ka lang ba?" Nagaalalang tanong ni Perci na nasa kabilang gilid ko naman. Simula kanina ay hindi na umalis si Perci sa tabi ko.

I smiled at him and wipe the dirt off his cheeks. "I'm fine."

"But.. blood.." Napayuko si Perci at pinaglaruan ang kanyang mga daliri. "I'm sorry. It's my fault."

"Silly. It's not your fault," I said and ruffled and his hair. "It's just a scratch. It doesn't even hurt."

"Really? Are you sure?" Paninigurado nya pa.

I nodded. "Yup."

"Just what really happened, Lucille?" Tanong ng Duchess. Napansin kong napayuko ulit si Perci na para bang kinakabahan. Maybe he doesn't want them to know what really happened. That some rich spoiled brats were bullying him.

Thinking about it pisses me off. How dare them bully my Perci? I won't let it go. I'm sorry Perci but I need to tell them about it.

Tumingin ako kay Nik na nasa gilid ng pinto. "Sir Nik, where are the two brats you saw with us earlier?"

"You mean Duke Helliot's nephews?"

My eyes widened. "They are his nephews?"

"Yes, my lady. They are the sons of Countess Eliza, the Duke's younger sister."

Ha. No wonder ang lakas ng loob nilang awayin itong si Perci.

"Well, those two brats bullied Perci. I saw it with my own two eyes."

Duchess Catherine gasped. She's not aware that her son is getting bullied. "Is that true, Percival?"

Hindi kumibo si Perci at nanatili lang na nakayuko. I can see his hands trembling.

"It's okay, Perci. Don't be afraid. Hindi ka na nila aawayin ulit. Ako ang bahala," sabi ko at hinawakan ang kamay nya. Perci looked at me with tears threatening to fall. Even his lips are trembling. "Your sister will protect you."

Parang isang mahika ang binitawan kong mga salita para tuluyang bumagsak ang mga luhang pinipigilan ni Perci. He hugged me and cried really hard.

"They're always asking me to do stuff that I don't want and they're always hiding my bag at school! And also..." Perci started to rant all his frustrations while hugging me and crying really hard. I let him let out all his pent up frustrations which I think he just kept all by himself. They've been bullying him since he started going on the academy.

Ang dami pang sinumbong ni Perci sa amin hanggang sa nakatulog na ito na nakayakap sa akin.

"Nik, please go get Perci and bring him to his room," utos ni Duchess Catherine.  "Lyra, change his clothes and let him rest." I heard her sniff. She was crying—oh-so-elegantly and beautifully, like wtf how? Samantalang kapag ako kung umiyak para akong asong may hika kakahikbi.
