I drive through the bustling city to the outskirts of town to a more secluded area. The nature here is beautiful and it feels so peaceful. I'm honestly not surprised this is where he chose to have a home. It just suits him so well.

I get to the winding road leading up to his home, its about a mile long on a quiet tree lined street. The road is on an incline so once I reach the top, I can see a lot of the beautiful scenery through the trees. It really is a breathtaking view. I'm looking around in awe when I get out of the car that I don't notice he's standing on his front steps until he calls out to me.

"Y/N. What brings you by? Not that I don't appreciate your company or anything." He asks as he walks down the steps to greet me in a hug.

"I'm sorry, Joonie. I shouldn't have come by on such short notice like this. I'm sure you're busy getting ready for your trip." I say as I pull away from his embrace.

"Not at all. I was just reading." He says. "Come on, let's go inside." He gives me a dimpled smile as he leads us inside his home.

It's a traditional Hanok meets 21st century modern. It's very beautiful and very spacious. The feel is light and airy, there's greenery everywhere along with beautiful art throughout the home. The windows are floor to ceiling, allowing plenty of light to shine through. It's honestly breathtaking. His living room has many bookshelves lined up against one of the walls and they're packed to the brim with books on various different topics. This entire place is just so him.

"It's beautiful here." I tell him as we sit on the couch.

"Thank you. I can't take any of the credit. I hired someone to decorate it while I was on tour when I first bought it. It was completely bare when I left and I came back to this beauty." He says as he looks around with an appreciative smile.

"Your decorator has some impeccable taste. It's gorgeous and fits you quite well."

"Thank you." He smiles. "So...what are you doing here?" He eyes me curiously.

"Would you believe me if I said I just wanted some company?"

"Do you want me to?"

"Maybe. Yes."

"Then yes, I believe you. For now." He winks. "Let me get you a drink. Any preference?" He asks as he gets up and heads to the kitchen.

"Just water is fine, Joon. Thank you." He nods and disappears down the hall.

I get up and look around at the various pieces of art on his walls and take in his massive book collection. There's everything you can think of from self-help, philosophy, psychology, memoirs, architecture, fiction, poetry, even some comics. Just then, he returns with a bottled water for me and a coffee for himself. He hands it to me and we go sit again.

"So what's been going on?" He asks as he sips his coffee.

"I spend 80% of my time with you Joon. You know what's been going on." I chuckle as I take a sip of my own drink.

"Yea but what about the 20% that you're not?" He asks, still watching me intently.

"Oh, you know. Nothing much."

"You're here because of Jimin aren't you? And, if I'm not mistaken, Jungkook?" He cocks an eyebrow and I look at him in surprise. "The maknae has deep trust me in. He talks to me a lot. But don't worry, I would never repeat any of the things he says to me, to anyone else. Your secret's safe with me." He reassures.

I look down at my hands and ponder for a second if I should tell him the real reason I'm here. But I guess if I don't coming here was kind of pointless. I suck in a deep breath and exhale as I meet his eyes again.
