Y/n separated from Ash agreeing to meet him at chang Dai when she was done running her own errands. She traveled into the depths of new York filled with drug addicts and delinquents that were on the run from the police.
Trash littered the soggy ground as she kicked an empty soda bottle out of her way. Her hands were in her pockets and her hood was up.
"hey pretty lad-" a scruffy man with a greying beard said sitting on a broken crate started as he gave her a sickening smerk "I suggest you stop talking" she said coldly looking around the cramped ally way she was currently in
She continued to walk feeling slight satisfaction as he turned away grumbling under his breath.
She came around a corner to a rickety apartment that was falling apart. She knocked on the rusting door and heard it creak as it opened slightly "who is it- John I swear to got if its you imma chop your dick off"
It was a woman's voice it was firm but had a slight Italian accent y/n rolled her eyes amused and then sighed "red its me"
The door flew open revealing a girl who seemed around y/n's age she had auburn hair that was tied up in a messy bun she had light caramel skin and had dark bags under her amber coloured eyes.
She was slightly taller than y/n and had pretty average body similar to y/n's and she had a piercing on the side of her nose and up her ear
She walked up to y/n and hugged her as y/n stood there with an annoyed expression on her face "you fucking stink" she said scrunching her nose as the smell of stale beer entered her nose.
Red grumbled as she pulled away and then pulled out a cigarette fixing her light grey tank top covering her cleavlage and putting her hand on her hip while putting the cigarette to her lips with the other.
"Ah you bitch" she chuckled blowing out a puff of smoke as y/n stood with a unamused expression "I missed you though, where have you been I haven't seen you for a few Years" She said giving her a honest look of concern
"yeah well you know how it is you look like shit by the way" she said looking her friend over who grumbled "bas couple of weeks is all" she said letter out a breath and putting out her cigarette and sitting on a staircase that was covered in ground next to her door.
"so what are you here for? She asked turning her head to y/n who stood in the same spot as before " I need your help" she said through gritted teeth she hated getting the people she cared about involved
Even though she knew that red could help her almost as much as the lynx could but she knew that she could trust her.
red grinned with her still perfect white teeth and smiled "is it to take down Golzine?" She asked excitement creeping into her voice y/n raises an eyebrow "yeah how did you know" she asked her eyes narrowing as red rolled her eyes
"I know you little sis and plus if thats the case Im in!" She said her eyes lighting up and she pulled out another cigarette that y/n slapped out of her hand
"no now go get dressed and brush your god damn teeth for fucks sake" she said and red grumbled as y/n waited outside her apparent glaring around at the prying eyes of the homeless or scum
"ok Im back " she said and y/n breathed a silent sigh of relief when she say reds appearance she actually looked like someone she knew back then not some crack head in the street "thank you now lets ho we are working with someone else " she said already wanting to leave.
Red followed her listening as y/n told her the plan and who she would be joining with. Along with catching up a little bit. Red missed her and was happy to see that she was doing well
She followed her to chang Dai and y/n walked through the doors and then she heard a thud from behind her
"I didn't know you were that oblivious"
