Dropping the kids off was easy, they didn't fuss for once. They were excited to see Alex So clearly something was wrong with them As I headed home I called Viv to check in But there was no answer
That wasn't like Viv She always answered, always unless she was really tied up with something When I pulled up at the house, all the maids were standing around in the foyer mumbling and gossiping "What's going on?" I demanded
"Miss Dinara, Franny said she's got a gun in the drawing room sir" she informed me "What?" I asked "Who's with her?" I asked "Mr Ivanov, miss Rose, Mr Nosov and miss Hassan sir" she said.
Shit. "And Vivienne? Kamala?" I asked What the fuck was she doing with a gun? She was supposed to have left by now "No one can find Mrs Ivanov and Kamala was taken upstairs earlier" another told me "Fuck" I cursed, heading towards my fathers study, grabbing a shotgun and heading towards the drawing room.
Causing the maids to scatter in a panic at what I was going to do. The should be panicked Dinara should be fucking scared.
I put my ear to the door, listening in I was expecting to here something... anything But the only sound that came was one I never wanted to here Her voice "Come in Lucian, I know you're there" she said.
I shoved the door open, looking around the room She had her gun to dad's head Cassian was lying on the floor bleeding.
"Put your gun down, before I have to shoot my father in law too" she said She was in a... wedding dress A wedding dress! What the- "Put it down Lucian" she warned I did as she wanted. I don't trust her at all
I fully believe she'll shoot dad if she's shot Cassian "Where's Viv?" I asked "That is the million dollar question isn't it? It's always where is she? Where has she gone, why is she so perfect Lucian? Hm? Why is she the one you took an interest in?" She asked. "Why her?" She demanded, moving forward and abandoning dad, picking up the shotgun and placing hers in her dress
I didn't say anything I just looked at dad Then Cassian He was bleeding everywhere I needed to take her out, so Cassian could get some help
"What's the point of this Dinara? What do you want?" I asked "For us to say our vows to each other, for you to properly open up and tell me how you feel" she said "Okay, alright we can do that" I said, playing into her game
