"Come alone Dinara, we are already late" mother said, rushing up the steps to the massive house I wasn't sure why we were here. I just wanted to stay at home with grandma, but I was dragged here for the day.
"Come on princess" dad said, picking me up as I was falling behind "Why are we here?" I asked, playing with his buttons "To see some old friends, we need to sort some business out, you can play with their sons in the meantime, would you like that? Make some new friends?" He urged. I nodded
In truth. No. I didn't want to play with... boys They were gross "Here you are" dad said, setting me down in a room before a maid led him and mother away
I turned around, to see two boys playing with blocks in the window One looked younger than me, whilst the other was around my age He was... cute He was more just... watching his brother play with the blocks "H... hi" I said nervously, smoothing down my dress.
They both looked at me "Who are you?" The younger one asked "Dinara" I said "Oh... that's a stupid name" he said "Shut up, what's your name?" I asked "Alex" he said
And my name is stupid? "And you?" I asked The other boy ignored me, before leaving the room "What's up with him?" I asked "He hates annoying girls" Alex teased, laughing "Shut up" I said again.
"Why? Cause you know how annoying you are" he said I got upset. Why was he being so mean? I stormed over to him, knocking his tower down "What did you do?" He asked annoyed.

I was 8 when I first laid eyes on him. Now I was 15 And every summer when we visited, I couldn't help but watch him. Follow him around the house He was just so... handsome So strong
Watching him box Mr Ivanov downstairs just proved how strong he was for his age I had to admit, I felt something more than a crush Something... deep
"Dinara?" I jumped from behind the pillar, turning to mom "Yes?" I asked She looked around me, before smiling "Oh, I see you're busy" she teased "Mom" I said simply "Hey, it's alright to... like a boy" she chuckled.
"But I need help in the kitchen" she said, wandering back inside.
I moved to follow her, until I was stopped by a boy "Hey, you forgot this" he said, holding out a flower to me "That's not mine" I said simply, turning away.
