"Two weeks at dads house" Sugar complained, carrying our bags "It'll be okay, it's just so he can sort everything out before... you know" I said sadly, carrying our little girl in my arms.
"I know, Dmitri come on" he called, as Dmitri wandered up the drive "Rowan?" I called out, walking into the foyer "He's in his study" Rose said, I nodded, heading into the living room where Alex and Dola sat.
I still couldn't believe Rose was living here again. I know it was for Kamala's benefit given Rowan's... condition But it was hard to stomach. That Rowan wasn't going to be around for much longer.
"Hey Alex" I said "Hey Viv, can I have a hold?" He asked "Sure" I said, handing Aleandra over to him "Aren't you getting big?" He asked "Yeah, she's a handful" I chuckled
"Are the others here yet?" Sugar asked "No, they're getting here later, but the girls arrived a few hours ago" he said "Fuck" I cursed "Fuck" sugar said at the same time.
The 'girls' were Anastasia and Dinara Sokolov. Two women who are very close to Rowan Well... Anastasia is anyway Her and her husband were very close to Rowan and Sugar's mother.
But that meant that Lucian and Alex had to put up with their daughter... Dinara She wasn't a... bad kid. I guess But she had obtained a rather unhealthy infatuation with Sugar One that came to a blow when she heard about me and Lucian being together.
And we were adamant to avoid her as much as we could She was crazy I know that's horrible to say. But her obsession with Lucian as kids was... weird to say the least.
"Yeah, Dinara's asked about you around... 20 times now?" He said, looking to Dola "More like 50" she chuckled "Fuck sake" Lucian grumbled, picking the bags back up off the floor.
"She's pretty though, in a... crazy kind of way" Dola shrugged
"Come on, we're going to our room" sugar grumbled "Okay, see you guys in a bit yeah?" I asked, they nodded "Yeah, don't get stalked on the way" Alex laughed.
It wasn't funny though, I felt bad for Dinara It's hard to be rejected when you're young But Lucian wasn't interested in her Never had been. I was the first person he ever really got on with properly.
But even though I felt bad for her I also wasn't going to be tolerant of any stupid behaviour
