What does one wear when going to kill their potential father? Because so far... I had hated every outfit I put on And all the effort to get dressed, giving Dimitri his lunch and finding the guns sugar had hidden around the hotel suite... was killing my ribs.
I felt like a rag doll, everything was hurting Ring ring "Dom" I greeted down the phone, holding it between my head and shoulder whilst I decided which earrings to wear.
"You've got the address right?" He asked, for about the thousandth time "Yes" I groaned "I have the address, I have a gun and I have you nagging my ear off, what more could I need?" I asked.
"I'm just checking, it's took hours going through all these buildings, I don't want you going to the wrong one" he explained I sighed "Dom. I was a professional assassin for most of my life, you think I'm going to forget an address?" I asked.
"No, but I don't know how normal minds work" he said casually "Yeah yeah, photographic memory... whatever" I rolled my eyes "You sure you've cleared it with Lucian?" He asked.
"I told you didn't I? I've spoken to him. Trust me" I said I hadn't. Sugar turned his phone off during actual business meetings... and even if he didn't, I wasn't risking sugar stopping me But Dom didn't have to know that.
"Fine fine... just... take back up yeah?" He asked "Of course, I'm not an idiot" I said, hanging up afterwards But it was because I wasn't an idiot... that I was going alone.
A dozen massive guys with guns storming a building? It'd be better to go it alone.

After another half hour I had found the perfect outfit... and the perfect gun Dimitri was safe with the security sugar had brought with us "Don't let him out of your sight for one single moment" I warned them.
