It's been four years since Simone and I have gotten married. Even through all the ups and downs, it feels like I've been living a fairytale.
I'm cooking dinner in the kitchen as Simone walks int. Simone wraps her arms around my body.
"How was your day?" Simone asks leaning her head on my back.
"Good. Did you find the letter?" Simone's face turns a shade of red. I decide to tease her. "After being married for four years, you'd think you wouldn't be shy anymore."
Simone playfully slaps my arm. "Is dinner ready?"
"Yup. Can you call Adam?"
"Adam!" Simone yells in her soft voice. Our little boy starts to run into the kitchen. "What were you doing upstairs?"
"I was writing a letter to Jasmine," Adam says referring to the neighbour's daughter.
Simone and I give each other a look.
