Mel couldn't help it, she was really competitive and lucky for her so was Mar. She began to stretch pretending that that was her reason for standing up and not to go get the charger. Mar followed her game and began to pop his back and stretch his legs. Mel chuckled at the sound of his bones cracking so loudly. Next she sat down again and grabbed her phone. She pretended to be on it while Mar walked to the window and just stood there leaning against the wall looking outside, one eye still on Mel. Whenever she moved an arm, a leg or even fidgeted a finger, his muscles tensed and he tried to move fast without being sudden. One another they kept on a look out for whatever it was that the other did but it was quickly annoying. Mel had stood up again and Mar watched her movements carefully. As Mel learned he wasn't gonna give up she sat down and so did he. She yawned and shifted to where she was comfortable in her bean bag. Mar took off his shoes and also yawned. Mel took advantage of it. She quickly got up and ran to the pile of clothes where the charger was tangled up. At the same time Mar also ran and tackled Mel to the ground trying to get the charger for himself "its mine move" Mel was tangled up under him, her legs intertwined with his and his hand under her head stuck in her hair. "Hey get off me!" somehow she was strong enough to push him off, but his hand pulled her hair "ow!" he laughed and scrambled for the charger. It was closer to Mel so she quickly grabbed it before Mariano could. She crawled away trying to find her phone but suddenly Mariano took hold of her and dragged her back by the leg. A loud squeaky yelp escaped Mels mouth and she flipped over trying to get away from Mar's grip. When she flipped over it was a blur of hair and clothes trying to fight to escape from him,she did catch a glance of his face and he had a kid-like look in his eyes. He didn't seem angry, it was more playful. "Let go of me you big bum" he released her but then she noticed the charger was in his left hand. He laughed "looking for this?" Mel tried to snatch it out his hands but he was too quick "Mar come on my phone is on 5% I really need it" he kept moving the charger around all over the place making Mel follow it with her eyes. "Mines at 4%. I need it more." "I needed it first" She kept struggling with trying to yank it out of his grip. Her non-dominant hand got a hold of it but Mar fell backward, was tired of balancing on his knees and he took Mel down with him. She landed on top of him, chest with chest and her head on the tip of his chin. Her hands were trapped, one under Mariano's arm and the other under his back. She looked up trying to get all the hair out of her face and huffed. Mariano surprisingly helped her. He brushed the hair out her way and they both looked at each other deeply. Neither blinked or moved or even spoke a word, they just laid there. Mel saw a weird look in his eyes, the deeper she looked she couldn't read the expression then she realized something new Woah his eyes, they're green not brown. They're beautiful. Once she got out of her head she backed up quickly uncomfort taking over her completely. This is weird, this is really weird. He too sat up and cleared his throat. He sat against the end side of the bed and fixed his clothing. That was stupid Mar, now she's uncomfortable. Dumbass "you can use the charger I don't care" Mel spoke up "huh oh nah you use it" "are you sure" "mhm go for it" "thanks" she said shyly. Good now, say something nice back. He opened his mouth but he didn't know what to say. Mel definitely noticed what is actually going on. She got up and went to go charge her phone and sat next to the outlet, her back on the wall with a knee propped up. While she sat on her phone she made sure to hide her face and look down the entire time unwilling to have another interaction with Mar. He on the other hand rested his head back on the bed and looked at the ceiling. Why do I wanna talk to her all of a sudden? I hate her. .... Oh come on that's all a lie I don't hate her. Yeah she can be annoying but mostly it's just cause I piss her off and get on her ass for no reason.

A little while passed and Mar kept contemplating ways to approach Mel, what he could possibly say but nothing came. How can I talk to her if I've been so rude. He just kept staring at her while she was on her phone. "How much longer are you gonna be staring at me so I can set an alarm" he smirked, remembering the same phrase he had said himself. "Nice one" Mel finally bursted "okay what is going on, is this another one of your games, or are you being nice because you're going insane from being trapped in here for so long." I wish he thought " I seriously don't get it because one second you can be one way then another second you're the complete opposite, you're probably gonna explode another one of your huge chapter books on why you deeply hate me and how you think I ruin everything, well i'm sorry I seriously don't try to get in your way if you don't want me to be friends with Samy well i'm also sorry cause that won't but I'll keep my distance from you. Im tired of this stupid war, I think we could seriously be friends but I know that wont happen so just say it right now and i'll keep my distance just dont try and be nice one second then erupt and come at me again because i wont let myself get called down, if you start i'll finish" Mar didnt say anything at first. He was in shock and just looked at her for a good minute "well...." she said and he cleared his throat again "well...uh i'm sorry? I guess" she rolled her eyes and went back to looking back down to her phone. "I'm just wasting my time and breath aren't I" "look! I'm sorry, okay it's not my fault you're so annoying...." Mel didn't bother looking up so Mar went and sat closer to her. "But on a serious note I am sorry, I was just I guess jealous you were getting so much attention from everyone and everyone just absolutely loves you. Everyone kinda just stopped looking for me and it was all about you. I used to be the favorite. But I shouldn't have let it out on you but to be far you were the cause for it all." Now it was Mels turn to be in shock "oh um wow I uh yeah wow" mar snickered "that's all you're gonna say?" "well give me a moment to process it all I mean shit you barely talk and and when you do its always something bad about me or completely dumb and..." her voice traced off and she didnt know how to continue "so what do you say? Friends? Truce?" "wait wait wait not so fast bad" she got up and paced around the room "so you're really apologizing to me right now?" "um yeah...." "and this is not a prank?" "nope" "and what's the cause for the sudden change" he lifted his arms and signaled around the room "look at where we're at" hmm he's right "true true.... And what about soccer" "what about it" "we're partners doesn't that bother you? You want someone else as a partner, remember" "its whatever i just thought it was unfair since you haven't been on the team and just surprised and jealous your skill level is up to mine but its impressive now that I think about, ya know since i'm like the best on the team" "so you think i'm good..." "ye" "and what about the soda spill at lun-" "okay listen" he shot up and now stood up facing her "this is me apologizing and taking everything that i've ever done or said back can't you just take it" Mel thought about it "okay fine, truce or whatever" "lets gooooo, okay now ummmm im starving" "me too man, but hey we're allowed to leave now" "true" he walked over to the door and Mel followed. He looked down at her "ready?" Mel knew what was on mind, she nodded. They started to bang on the door and calling out for Samy. "SAMY!!" "SAMYY COME OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR I'M HUNGRY" "OPEN UP BITCH" they kept going banging and laughing. A second later Mel stopped but Mar kept going, he was so into it that he didn't notice Mel leave at first. She went and got her phone then noticed Mariano's phone on the ground nearby. She unplugged it and connected Mar's in and went back to the door. "He can clearly hear us" "then just bang louder" Mel started to record as Mar laughed and yelled for Samy. This will be a nice memory. The day we became friends.

Downstairs Samy had fallen asleep, he had spent the afternoon eating a few snacks and playing games on his brother's game console. He eventually forgot the two were upstairs in his room and drifted off into a nap. Of course he was woken up by the loud banigng and yelling from the two. "What the fu-" he shook away the grogginess and went up the stairs. "What are you guys doing? I was taking a nap, y'all woke me up!" "open the door Samy" Said Mar "please" followed Mel. He gave in and unlocked the door. "Finally!" said Mel and quickly got out "stupid mother fucker" Said Mar and followed Mel out the door. Samy just looked at them speechless but followed.

Once they reached the bottom of the stairs Mel plopped on the couch and began to eat some chips from an open bag on the floor. "Oh my god im so hungry" "hey give me some" Mar asked. Mel pointed the bag towards him and his hand reached inside. Samy stared at them both "what the fuck is going on here" "eating chips what bout you" Said Mel. "Yo, these chips suck get some better ones," said Mar as he continued to stuff his mouth with a big handful. Samy walked to the two of them and yanked the chips out of Mel's hand "stop eating my chips! Why are yall acting like this, it's weird" "what do you mean?" They said. Samy continued to stare. "why do you guys always say everything in unison that's also weird, but back to the topic this is weird like yall two being nice" "isn't that why we we were locked up" asked Mel reaching for the chip bag again "I didn't actually think it would work y'all were just getting on my nerves,but yall hate each other. "We do" said Mel "I hate him with a passion" she said but gave Mar more chips. "Yeah" agreed mar through another mouthful of chips "she's the absolute worse" Samy kept giving them a weird look but this time he smiled big and sat in between the two "i'm the best aren't I" "ew get off me" said Mel and Mar shoved him off "i love you guys"
