Bukayo saka- only you

I'm broken here tonight and darling no one else can fix me only you.

You and Bukayo got in to an argument a few days ago, since then you haven't spoken. You've been staying in your old apartment instead of the house you share with bukayo.

You were both invited to a party which you couldn't not go to now, but you really didn't want to as your heart felt broken at the thought of you and B not being on speaking terms, you thought it would've blown over by now but after all the constant arguments and bickering maybe being apart is what's best for you.

You arrived at the party and said your hello's to your friends, you were looking round the crowded room trying to see if you could see him.

You was quickly distracted by being handed a drink from fern, "what's up with you girl you look pale" she asked

"Great" you laughed

"No" she laughed "you just look off like your nervous"

"Nah I'm good" you said

"Is it bukayo?" She asked

You looked at her "we haven't spoken in 3 days"

"What!" She said "where have you been staying"

"Luckily my old apartment hasn't sold yet so I've been there" you said

"Have you broken up?" She asked

"No, well I don't think so anyways, we just haven't had a good couple of weeks. Constantly fighting and he's stressed cos of Arsenal and it's just been a mess really" you sighed

"Oh girl" she said hugging you

"It hurts to be honest, but it's almost like how can we go 3 days not speaking and be okay with it" you said

"Well he might not be okay with it but maybe he thinks you are, cos clearly your not okay but you think he is" she said

"I guess" you said looking round the room once more.

And then your eyes locked with a pair so familiar.

Your face was shocked and he was blank. It's like everything came rushing back to you. Thinking about how once upon a time you had it all. And now you've lost it, some how.

You turned your attention back to fern after a minute.

"He's still looking" she said

"Is he" you asked and she nodded

"He's coming over" she said

"No he's not" you said

"She is so you can either go or stay and talk to him quick" she said

You decided to stay, but felt a bit uneasy at the idea, fern walked off as he approached.

"Hi" he said

You looked up at him with a small smile.

"You okay" he asked

"Yeah are you" you said back

"Mm, it's nice to see you" he said

You nodded.

There was silence for a while, you avoided eye contact until you felt a hand grab yours pulling you away from the crowd.

He took you upstairs and into a room where it was quiet. He didn't let go of your hand until you were both sat looking at each other on the bed.

"I wanna talk but it's too loud down there" he said
