Dele alli- deadline day

*still unaware if dele is going to Everton or not but this is all fiction xxxx*

"should i do it?" dele said walking in to the lounge

"do what babe?" you asked unsure what he was talking about

"the window closes tomorrow, and i've been offered a move to Everton remember" he said

"Yeah course i remember, i thought you wasn't going for it thought? " you said

"I know, i wasn't, but now im having doubts" he said

"Talk to me then, what's going through your head" you said shuffling closer to him

You felt sorry for your boyfriend, he has amazing talent and everyone knows that. but he's not been getting what he deserves, a move would be great for him to restart and bring back the desire he once had.

"I just don't know if i can do another 5 months playing no games, being told i'm shit, not scoring goals. i wanna go back to how i was and i'm not getting here" he said

you nodded "yeah i understand, if you feel like this is what you need to do then do it."

"do you think it's the right thing to do?" he asked

"to be honest, yeah i do. but i don't want my opinion to affect your decision, it's up to you what to do darling, and ill support you no matter what" you said smiling at him

"i know, the only thing stopping me is its far away" he said

"it's not that far babe, don't worry about things like that" you said "i'll go make you a drink, you want tea or coffee?"

"coffee please" he said, you kissed his cheek and went off to the kitchen

You put the kettle on and grabbed two cups from the cupboard, you turned to get milk from the fridge and dele was standing in the doorway

"god you made me jump" you laughed, he gave a small laugh back and walked towards you.

you opened your arms to give him a hug which he gladly accepted

"it will be okay dele" you whispered

he pulled back from the hug to look at you.

"would you come with me? or are you going to stay here?" he asked with a look of concern on his face. 

you thought for a minute or so, but there was no doubt in your mind that would stop you going with him.

"Of course i would" you gave a small laugh

he smiled and left a soft kiss on your lips

"thank you, i love you" he said

"i love you too" you smiled back at him
