The days passed by in a blur and it was already the day to help Cole with the photo shoot. Later Mason told me that Cole wouldn't mind if I helped him with the photos and background setting too.

I was munching on chocolate as I shared the news with Violet, who had disappeared to a surprise vacation to Mexico with Jack. "Wow, I never knew that your passion for clicking pictures would lead you here." She said as she unpacked her luggage.

I scoff and reply,"We are just helping him out. Probably there's going to be a time in near future where he wouldn't even think about me." I shift the pillow and lay down on my back, thinking about the bright or the not so bright future ahead of Cole.

"That isn't all is it?" Violet said and places her chin on the edge of the bed as she sits crossed legs on the floor. I sigh knowing that she knows me real well. "It could be like, it's goes amazing for him or it could turn out to be bad for him." I whisper the last part, hoping for it not to turn true.

Unfortunately the bar of chocolate was finished and I was left with stained finger tips and a worried state of mind. "Don't think of the worst already. Stay hopeful." She said, trying her best to make me fell better. But the advantage of having anxiety is when I see the worst happening it won't shock me.

I lick the chocolate from my finger tips and hum in response. "Enough about me, tell me about Mexico" I change the topic and she falls for it as she animatedly talks about their trip with a cute blush on her face.

I felt myself zoning out every now and then, I missed a lot of details but I couldn't help but worry about Cole's event. "Here for you," she said bringing me out of my thoughts. I got up from my sleeping state and look at the fridge magnet she bought for me.

"Wow, this is so pretty." I say almost in whisper. She smiles and I rush to the kitchen and place it on the refrigerator. Thinking that I should probably get ready, I stop in front of my wardrobe.

I pick the least attractive clothes as I don't want Cole to think I have good taste in fashion and it will also keep me away from spotlight. I quickly change into an oversized t-shirt and blue baggy jeans. I had gotten ready quite early and hence I spend my time reading a book as Violet was busy with her work.

After getting a call from Mason, I shut the book and after informing Violet, I left the house. As I saw Mason standing by his car, I couldn't help but admire him. He was dressed perfect as always in his blue and white sweatshirt. The way he carries himself is itself so confident and powerful.

An automatic smile grows on my face as butterflies come alive in my stomach. As I neared him, I noticed how his eyes raked my body. They didn't fail to send shivers down my spine. Once I was close to him, he places his hand on my waist, his fingers soft, as he tenderly kisses my cheek.

I feel all the heat rush to my cheeks and he gently rubs his nose against mine as he whispered,"I don't know how, but you manage to look adorable everyday, my love" Our close proximity enabled me to go insane by his rich musky scent. Goodness!
